Fantastic modern hotel with impressive public areas and services. They have an ultra modern gym and terrific sauna above the front desk. They have a play area near the front desk and a place to have breakfast and meals. The staff was very accommodating with Linus and Marijn offer personable and excellent service. Room is modern, but could use some artwork as it's very austere. Also the bathroom is one of those half glass affairs that the Europeans love, so the shower is going to spray all over the bathroom from the open back end. Also there was no soap dish which was frustrating and surprising. Nearby is a great Italian restaurant Nonno. Pro tip, if you're coming from the airport don't take a taxi as they'll charge you the full amount to go in a Stockholm and not to this hotel which is 10 minutes away. Take an Uber.

Horrible and terrifying experience. I arrived from the airport at this hotel (7-8pm) and it was already closed, so I had to use a machine that was outside of the building to get my room key. The machine stopped working midway ”printing” my room key. I tried to do everything to find someone to help me but the hotel thinks that even when it's close to the airport where thousands of tourists come, the only people staying with them are locals with Swedish phones. I tried to find my already-paid booking to start the process again and it said it was no longer available. After an hour of trying to get in contact with someone, I realized that I was stranded outside with 2 luggage bags in the middle of nowhere, at night, while snowing in a country I'd never been to. It was terrifying. Luckily a person who came to fix the elevator helped me to call an Uber and I was able to leave that hell and arrive at a hotel that had people checking in and I managed to get a room and sleep somewhere other than outside in the snow. I would NEVER recommend it. Ever.

Staffs are very nice and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and warm. We were able to enjoy the sauna which was very relaxing and has no extra fee. The buffet breakfast is outstanding with variety choices of delicious food and they were constantly refilled.

Hoewel de locatie van deze hotel ver van de atad, maar het is heel dichterbij openbaarvervoer die redelijk snel en direct verbinding om naae het centrum van Stockholm zowel naar de kuchthaven Alanda. Veel voorzieningen in de buurt zoals supermarkt, restauranten, bus haltes, apotheken, taxi’s, winkels, en dichterbij de snelweg.

I recently visited Såstaholm with my wife and another couple of good old friends to celebrate an even birthday by treating ourselves to seafood and overnight stay. And we were, all of us, thoroughly satisfied! Starting with a creamy and delicious mussels soup, we were promptly served an impressive double-decker seafood platter (with sauces and bread), not only opulent in size and variety but also, as we pleasantly found, exquisite in quality! It was sheer delight to stuff up to the brim with oyster, lobster, crab, langoustine, and fresh and smoked prawns - despite sincere attempts sadly having to leave some (for the kitchen staff we hope!). We were also most satisfied by the very full breakfast buffet offered in the morning, after a good night's sleep in the tranquil rural settings (slightly facilitated by a few post-dinner glasses in the bar?). Not least, apart from the tangible experiences, we found all staff to be professional and friendly and most attentive, also to special requests to help us celebrate in style. Well done you, we do hope to return!

Gorgeous estate and buildings, so comfortable and quiet. Loved the room, great view, large and all the amenities. Got to swim in the lake which was so serene. The dinner was first rate and the breakfast had a wide selection of quality items. Staff especially Ingela and Leonte and his assistant were so kind, helpful, and humorous and made my stay memorable.

You will be pleasantly surprised.The outside of the hotel does not look like much but you will like it.Self check in and out,and the rooms are comfortable,clean,even kitchen with all utensils supplied.You have an electric stove to prepare meals.Five minutes away is Maxi Burger and a convenience store thaty carries almost everything.The buses run every 5 minutes promptly and the 607 and 627 goes back and forth to the metro station.The metro goes directly to Arlanda Airport.If you are purchasing a ticket for the train which can be bought at Pressbyrian shops ensure to to request transfer to the bus which is free or you would have to pay extra fare for the bus.If you do take the bus from the metrostation to the hotel,the stop is Djupdalsvägen 7, When you get off the bus go right,then left the hotel is 2 mins walk ahead.
