"A very nice place to stay. A spacious room in a quiet resort. Lots of choice for breakfast in the breakfast hall. Very kind receptionists. Firm bed with firm pillows. It has its own swimming pool, and is just a few steps away from a sandy beach."
"Clean rooms, good atmosphere, next to the sea, Bang Bed Beach, border 2 provinces, Prachuap, Chumphon, has fresh seafood. From local fishermen Can be made as food at the resort or buy it to the resort to cook for you. There is an squid fishing activity at night. Snorkeling, Koh Talu and eating crabs hanging legs in the middle of the sea, Pathio, Chumphon, legend of coral reef. Koh Larn Duck, Kai Restaurant Tickets can be booked at Chanti Maris accommodation. You can go out"
"Only stayed one night whilst travelling from Bangkok to Samui.
Room was spotless, very welcoming with a comfortable bed and great aircon. The minibar was stocked, and even had cool glasses. The bathroom was spacious and had lovely toiletries. The TV had smart TV which meant lots of English speaking channels.
We had dinner in the restaurant which although pricey was some of the best Thai fresh seafood we've had recently. There was a really nice outside seating area as well as an air-conditioned room to dine in. Some unique and homemade options as well as photos and weights shown of the catch of the day. We booked breakfast but didn't get up early enough to try it.
Carparking was ample and conveniently located near the front desk, but it wasn't covered which meant the car was boiling wventhough we left around 9am.
The area is beautiful and warranted a longer stay, we will revisit when we are next travelling Thailand.
Our only improvements would be blackout curtains, and the option of a firmer pillow."
"One of the most beautiful hotels for miles around.
Too bad the beach is littered with broken glass and can lids, various plastics.
Non-existent staff. Too bad because the restaurant is magnificent but no service before noon unless you have had breakfast lunch included."
"Room- clean, roomy, comfortable, modern with a small balcony.
Location- perfectly situated next to the beach 🏖️ the night market is in the next village. They are building a local temple which is stunning just a short walk away. There are lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops near. Perfect destination to relax and unwind whilst having leisurely strolls around the local area.
Complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water which is a lovely touch. There is also a foot massager in room to use and a clothes drier to use on the balcony for drying beach wear.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They appear to be a family run hotel and has a home from home welcome. We look forward to returning in the future!"
The Albatross Guesthouse @ Thungwualaen Beach is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Albatross Guesthouse @ Thungwualaen Beach offers a pleasant stay in Pathio for those traveling for business or leisure. With SAPHLI just 8km away and Chumphon Airport only 25km away, transportation is very convenient. This hotel is located near many of Pathio's attractions including Tha Wua Laen Beach, Wat Thung Sai Thong and Wat Nong Khae. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.
"The house is good, the house is two single beds and a big bed, there is a dressing table, cloakroom, separate dining table and bar outside the house, refrigerator, microwave, kettle are also here, and some tableware"
"Amazing place! I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I wasn't expecting such a good room just next to the highway. Very clean and pretty. Wooden elements and traditional looking lamps make it unique and authentic.
The sunrise you can watch from an amazing panoramic rooftop with cup of coffee. In the morning you can order a breakfast. (Yummy!). In the evening you can have a dinner at the restaurant behind the hotel (same owner, I believe, since it's the same name and logo). Around the hotel you have bunch of stores. And the best part of the location is very nice stretch of a beach. No people, only tiny little crabs. In the evening you can sit on a pier listening local fishermans chatting. The sunset was also beautiful. Don't miss out on this place! Staff is very friendly and accomodating. My only wish is - stay there longer. Highly recommend!"
