"Probably the best value hotel in Surin.
Pros:
Location is in a quiet soil, no clubs or bars so the night time environment is very quiet, close to o e of the main roads so access is easy.
Car parking is ample, but as this hotel has high occupancy rates, it does fill up. Parking spaces are a little narrow, but night time has security to assist with parking.
Well maintained and clean, housekeeping is of a high standard, Front counter staff very polite and welcoming.
Cons:
Sound proofing is a little lacking, but guests behaviour contributes considerably.
Tiles in bathroom and shower can be a little slippery when wet.
Hair-dryer and iron available upon request from front.
We have stayed here many times, and continue to stay on future trips."
"I booked this place for my friend, and they said it was okay. From what I’ve heard, the location is convenient, and the price is reasonable. The rooms are comfortable, with a nice bed and good-sized space. Parking is easy, which is a big plus. My friend mentioned that the staff were friendly and helpful during their stay. Although it might not be a luxury hotel, it offers good value for money. Overall, it seems like a solid choice for anyone needing to stay in the area for business or short visits."
"I stayed at The Wood late last year and was very impressed by the hotel layout and design. The comfortable rooms and their unique style. The affable and friendly staff. And the amazing breakfast offered. So when I returned to Surin I knew where I would stay. Oh and the location is great too. Near many restaurants in eateries, bars and cafes. Highly recommended."
"As always The Slive Hotel is an excellent place to stay made moreso by their superb staff. I did notice some of the towels, linen & furniture (in the dinning area) are starting to look a bit worn. But otherwise another great stay & can still confidently recommend it."
"The gaps on the handrails are too wide including the balcony railings. Small children may fall in. Other than that, it's good, clean, and the service is good."
"A good hotel There is a certain level of convenience, cool air, the room is not small, not very big. The receptionist has a friendly service. Just want to fix the old check cloth, almost torn. Even though it is clean, it doesn't look confident to use it."
"Good accommodation, new, clean, if traveling by private car The accommodation is entering the alley but near the restaurant. Drive no more than 5 minutes, the receptionist is very informative. If coming around here again, will definitely come back and stay again."
"The last time I stayed, the accommodation was very clean, the atmosphere was good, the hotel was good in every way, not near a convenience store but there were snacks for sale, you can order food via app, but the disadvantage I encountered when staying was that the other guests were very noisy, so I couldn't sleep well. I booked for two nights, stayed for one night and then checked out."

GGuest UserWalk 5-6 minutes from the bus terminal. Close to a small night market.
It is very quiet and the room is spacious and comfortable.
This is not a blackout curtain, so it is very bright in the morning.
There is no breakfast, but bananas, snacks and coffee are provided on the table next to the sofa on the first floor.
I stopped at Vanta Klang and Elephant Village, but as the car ran out of time, I stayed for two nights. I'm resting
GGuest UserThe hotel is fabulous and excellent value. Room is comfortable and clean. Beds comfortable. Nice balcony overlooking pool area. We were on 4th floor. Bathroom had all we required. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an upgrade. Pool are very good, with sun lounges along one side. Could do with some extra tables and chairs with umbrellas. No space to sit if lounges (5 only) were taken. Includes breakfast which was good. Mostly Asian style. Plenty of fruit. Eggs cooked to order if required. Good coffee. Didn’t eat in restaurant except for breakfast.
Staff very friendly and helpful but with very little English. Translation App on phone a lifesaver.
JJan SchonebeekHotel within walking distance of downtown, 600 meters, no breakfast, for a drink there is a cooler in the lobby ( pay)for soft drinks and beer
