We booked this hotel for 1 night on our way to Cornell. It was exactly what we needed for the night. The negative reviews are because of the pool, however, if you read/research before you book then you are aware and everything else is great. The room was clean, towels and room smelled fresh. The front desk worker Kelly was so nice and welcoming. We even got free sugar cookies when we arrived. In the morning breakfast was standard options, waffle, bagels, muffins, cereal, sausage gravy and biscuits. Everything tasted good and the gentlemen who attended the breakfast was constantly refilling and wiping down tables. Before we left we even were told we could take some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. The area has a lot of dining options as well and a mall. I would definitely stay here again if need be. Great job! Thank you for your hospitality.
We booked a last minute stay here 2 days before our arrival. We got tickets to see The Cher Show at the Clemens Theater in Elmira...and this was really the better hotel to stay at, rather than stay in Elmira proper. We were greeted by the ever perky, friendly, and helpful Front Desk agent Laurie. She gave us some suggestions for the area, and we checked in easily. We were located in room 424-that we had chosen the day before on the app. The room was super clean. It was a bit dark, and dated-but nothing was worn. The TV was rather small given the size of the room, but worked fine. There was an extra blanket in the closet-very appreciated. The shower was powerful and hot the next morning. Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. We used the hot tub in the pool room. We were the only ones in there, so super quiet! The pool was cooler than I would have liked-but I am definitely more of a hot tub person anyway. We would recommend a stay at this hotel for anything in the Elmira area.
Quick rest stop for our family travelling home to Toronto from NYC. We have two young children. It exceeded our expectations. Clean, safe, quiet and comfortable. Everyone slept well. We would definitely choose this hotel again. (We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food quality.)

Room was good sized for a couple. Kitchen efficiency was handy - full size fridge. We ordered out (Outback Steakhouse next door - 10% discount w key card) but it was nice to have plates/silverware, etc. One bed was super comfortable, the other not so much - felt like there was a hole in one of the sleeping sides. Convenient USBs on the nightstand. Hotel was clean. Everyone friendly. We had a dog with us and our room was right next to the side door, so that was very convenient. There was a nice lawn outside for him to play on. Bathroom was well stocked and good pressure/temp in the shower. Walls did seem to be thin, esp at night - we could hear kids running above us, could hear others in the hallway, toilets flush, etc., but the hotel was pretty quiet overall, so it wasn't really an issue.

This is nice basic motel if you don’t care about bells and whistles. It’s clean, comfortable and offers everything you could need during your stay. There was shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, makeup wipes, ironing board and the best water pressure in the shower I have ever had in a hotel.
Stayed for a quick night on my way to Seneca Lake the next day. During the current health situation, I was curious to see how certain things would be done and was pleased with how Marriott and this property's staff responded. Used the Marriott app on my phone to check in prior to arrival. Once I entered the hotel, there was ample signage to wear a mask, sanitize, and social distance. Greeted warmly and was asked to just verify my credit card on the reservation and was handed key packet, advised of breakfast in the morning and the pool/fitness center being closed, and sent on my way. Arrived in room, wiped everything down (for my peace of mind) and noticed the room in good order and everything looked cleaned. Bed was very comfortable, air conditioning was mostly quiet, and noise level from surrounding rooms was not very noticeable (except the loud car driving through the lot outside). Hotel is located in a shopping center with Walmart, Cracker Barrel, Red Robin, Ulta, Dicks Sporting Goods, Kohls, and others. Close by to Target, Dunkin, Starbucks, and Panera Bread as well as the mall a short drive away with other restaurants. Quick on and off rte 17. Checked out by Marriott app, dropped keys in container near front desk and was on my way. Breakfast buffet was not available but there were bags available at desk in morning which included water, oranges, muffins, and granola bars. Keeping this hotel in mind the next time I need a quick stay for the area.
Definitely no pool or a room service lol! The sheets were clean but the bed an pillows were super uncomfortable, bed cover stained. Lots of dust, bathroom was filthy, i mean toilet seat had yellow dirt underneath from previous occupants using it, bath had builded dirt from the times being used and not cleaned. Pubic hairs at the toilet seat and bath, mirror- could barely see myself. Stayed there for two nights cause it was super cheap, but i guess with a reason! Never ever make my mistake to book a hotel without checking the reviews! I was on a hurry, but still! I was the only guest at the whole hotel! THE ONLY ONE! Wonder why! Place is kinda sketchy and as a solo traveler i was not scared, but on my toes all of the time. Receptionist lady was nice, but next morning after check in walked by my room randomly looking true my window at least 5 times. I don’t think there is breakfast, at least they didn’t make the effort for just me at the entire place. I wouldn’t eat there anyways, after the condition of the room. Stains on the chairs, room looked like it wasn’t renovate or deep cleaned ever! Sheets were fine, tv worked good. Never again tho!
A group of us, 4 senior adult couples, stayed here for two nights on our way from Maryland to Toronto. We used this hotel as the base to visit Watkins Glen and Ithaca. All four rooms were on the fourth floor and we were all pleased throughout our stay. The entire hotel was recently renovated. Everything was clean and functional. Our rooms were big, clean, nicely furnished, good beddings, and quiet. The front desk and breakfast staff were very polite and pleasant. The cleaning staff were very polite and smiled to us too. Highly recommended!
I stayed at this Quality Inn recently when traveling to Big Flats. I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was very clean and very comfortable, and extremely quiet. There was no traffic noise, or noise from other guests. The check-in and check-out were painless and the staff were friendly. The included breakfast was fine, with both hot and cold items. There are many chain restaurants in the area of the hotel, and readily accessible shopping areas nearby. I will stay here again when in the area.
