"This is my favorite hotel. We stay here every year. I usually have a great stay! This year not so much! Rooms refrigerator didn’t work and it spoiled our food, and they switched from sample size shampoo and conditioner to full size pumps attached to wall with nothing inside! Thank goodness I bought some shampoo just in case! Beds were a little harder than what I have remembered. I know they have new ownership. I hope this is not how it’s going to be next year too. Other than than I like this hotel, great location."
"Because pets are allowed, the room has a strong smell of disinfectant. Breakfast is not provided because the restaurant has been outsourced. The service of the hotel staff is good. The surrounding area is close to Empire Center and Hollywood Avenue. It is convenient to drive by yourself. It is just an ordinary American motel"
"Firsts day we got there was good. Second day try and check another night the girl that helped us did not even try to help out. Said she couldn’t find out booking told her it was in there system she keep saying no it wasn’t with attitude. So I had to book another day all over again. And I asked her again are u sure I’m not in there they did it the day before told me no. She knew what she was doing. So when i booked my room again told her there it’s done. Then she tells o I found it No apology no nothing. After I just got done booking my room. Very disappointed with her service bad part I didn’t get her name"
"The new manager Robert is great. Looks like they’re getting more staff and so far they’ve been great. Used to have a big issue with one of the girls but I’m glad there are other employees now "
"Pros: Nice water pressure, sparkling clean toilet, cold mini fridge (kept ice cream frozen and water bottles chilly from fridge), good tasting ice
Cons: Weird clicking noise all night, trash not emptied, stained chaise, no bag for ice bucket, dirty soap tray
Our room looked and smelled clean, but there was a pink stain on the chaise lounge, the soap tray had a brown circle of gunk on it, and there was still trash in one of the trash cans. I was not about to use an ice bucket with no bag in it, but at least the plastic cups were individually wrapped. The mini fridge was nice and cold, keeping our ice cream pints frozen and chilling out complimentary Kirkland water bottles in 20 mins.
Even though I closed the shower curtain fully, and made sure the magnets were properly attached on the inside of the tub, there was a pool of water on the floor when I came out.
The bed was decently comfortable and springy, but the bedspread was very thin and the ”fitted sheet” was a flat sheet that was too small for the bed, not covering the bottom 2 inches on the top.
The continental breakfast was full of somehow-dry danishes and chocolate filled crepes. Coffee was meh, cereal options were good, but I didn't see milk. I did see yogurt, but it didn't feel the least bit cold."
"Service and location were great! Very clean property with a hot tub and pool. Will definitely stay here again in the future when traveling to Burbank. "
"Take the child no problem! Parking is free, the back side of the hotel can be parked, and there are up to 5 cars in the yard. Very comfortable, there is free breakfast, it is bread coffee! This is the case in the United States. Going to Universal Studios is not close! Bus at the door 25 meters, about 3.4 stops, 1 dollar per person, very cheap. I am going by car, come back, go back far, probably we push the child to navigate back 50 minutes, but the scenery is very good !"
"The hotel is very good, very new, the room is comfortable, clean, parking is charged, it is more convenient to drive more than ten minutes from the university. I am really drunk in the American breakfast. Every hotel has a very bad breakfast. American breakfast is like this? Why is the English breakfast so rich? I won’t order any more in the future."
"Great location for the nearby universal studios.
I unfortunately did have an administrative issue at check in which took around 45 minutes to resolve before the hotel issued my room key — the attendant did apologise and said this “never happens”, however it was unfortunate given we had arrived after midnight following a lot of driving.
Other than that, it was a fine hotel."
"It's not far from Universal Studios by car, about 20 minutes, and the hotels nearby are more expensive. But we arrived very early on the first day and went in at 8 o'clock, so we finished Harry Potter three times. Played with all kinds of things. Service is also good"
