Plenty of sunlight pour in through the wall of windows.The master bedroom has a queen bed, an attached powder room, and a window that faces the beach, a perfect place to fall asleep listening to the crash of the waves and wake to the sounds of gulls.Winter Renters: during the winter months (December - March) there is a sand berm that is built in front of the house to protect the houses on the beach from winter storms. The Harbor Seal Sanctuary viewing area is within Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve where you can observe the harbor seals from a safe distance. Franklin Trail is one of the best hiking trails in the area set in the foothills just north of Carpinteria. The trail starts at the Franklin Trailhead and climbs up steep switchbacks along a wide road.
