Outstanding
Our church hosted a marriage retreat at this facility. The staff at Fuzzy's restaurant, Doug & Mary were spectacular. They were a pleasure to work with. Mary on Saturday with the help of another lady was wonderful. To find out Mary was off work at 10am and stuck around until 3:30pm for us really touched our hearts. She is a great lady. We had a wonderful time. Courtney and her team were wonderful to work with. Chris and Jessica were very nice at the front desk as well. Our couples really enjoyed downtown Jeffersonville. Overall it was a great experience!!!
TTraveler67923324153I travel to Jeffersonville fairly often for work and been staying here many times since they opened. The hotel is in a great location with all kinds of food options, gas, car wash, ect all within walking distance. The hotel is usually clean and the staff is friendly but they built the place right next to the Indiana Railroad main line. Through the night you will here multiple trains going by and blasting their horns as loud as they can. I have began to think they do it on purpose. There should be some sort of ordinance that trains are restricted to blow horns from 10PM until 7AM like in my home town. So why do I keep staying here? I stay here because the breakfast gal Miss Joyce takes very good care of us in the morning for breakfast and the coffee is extremely good. Also you cant beat the location. However I am looking for other places to stay and not sure I can return. When I am on the road for work sleep is important to me and the last time there were so many trains during the night I woke up like a zombie in the morning and could hardly function the whole day.
GGuest UserHello, my name is Kimberly Grable and I am a Travel Advisor. I was in Louisville, Kentucky for a baseball tournament that was at Spalding University. I travel at least three weekends a month for either business or family events. With me on this trip was my daughter who is 12 yrs old. We stayed in a non-smoking two queen bed room. Upon checking in we walked in to see the front desk lady leaned over the counter on her personal cellphone. The lobby area was just a few tables and chairs used for breakfast and then a few chairs by the TV. It wasn't very inviting as everything was crowded and in one area. Nothing like the website shows. I processed to check in and was told a completely different amount than my email from when I reserved the room. That lady didn't say a word just walked away and another lady came to take care of it. After showing my emails, which she said was a receipt from something else (even thought it showed the name of the hotel and dates) I got charged the current rate not the rate on my email. I asked about my discounts and was told that you couldn't use discounts since I was a reward member. I asked about my travel agent information and she said yes it was reserved by Magical Vacation but that doesn't matter!!! Very unprofessional and rude from both Front Desk ladies, and when I asked for the business card of the manager she stated here I'll give you mine and the managers, I'm the front desk manager!!!! Both names on the card was Shannon. We received our room keys and room number 423 and got on the elevator to go to the room. Entering the room it had a musky smell and you could tell it wasn't recently cleaned. The room was plain and no decorations but two pictures. The bathroom was ok, no blow dryer like stated on website and the cleanness of the tub was half done ( you could see the ring mark and there was hair on the shower curtain. The room had a small TV, microwave, and refrigerator. We could not use the thermostat due to it being broken, and the main unit made loud noises when turned on. The one bed had hair on it and sheets didn't look or smell clean. Both beds was very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in them. You could hear every little noise from the hallway and outside, not a quite hotel. The breakfast was nothing like stated on the website!!! There was just a few choices and no fruit besides apples. An older lady was working the breakfast area and made rude comments to many guests like if you aren't going to eat it don't take it, or that's not how you do it!!! Very unprofessional and uncalled for. I noticed at least 6 guests walk away with no breakfast and complaining about it. There was a younger lady named Izzy who did show respect and asked how our stay was and thanks for coming but that was it. I have to say that this stay was one of the worse Hampton Inn's that I've been at. I definitely will not be staying here again. Yes it is by Interstate 65 but hard to get to and leave from. I hope this review
AAndy VWe were traveling with another couple and needed a quick stop, booked this hotel as it was off the highway. It is not in Louisville but in IN., and not the greatest location. Very confusing on how to get in to the lobby, the hotel in the background is not used for regular guest, the motel part was a tunnel of doorways, nicotine smoke filled many of the hallways, carpets are filthy, no air conditioning in the common spaces. Then we got to our room, no access as the door handle was broken (lit up green but would not open), up to the lobby to the second room where there was no air condition, smell of food, and an odd cell phone propped up in the window camera facing the bed. We had to leave as the accommodations were not acceptable, guaranteed a refund, then the hotel denied the refund the next day, told our credit card company we never showed up. Tried to reach management, they refused to contact us back.
CCAT VThe property is older but has been updated and is well maintained. The rooms I looked at before booking were very clean with all the amenities expected. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. As another reviewer has stated, the breakfast could offer better selections but that is the only area needing improvement. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.
Great location - clean and comfortable rooms - staff was nice enough to recommend me some restaurant near by - very cheap and looks like it is recently renovated. They also have truck parking since I had uhual it worked out great for me. Thank you motel 6 for clean room
