"Location is definitely Jax beach but amenities were lacking. The restaurant and bar were not open early or late enough. This may change seasonal. It was clean. You were right on stretch with the bars and club. Definitely walking distance."

"The hotel is not bad, clean, and the price is very reasonable. However, they started repairing the roof early in the morning. Although the announcement in July said that it would be completed in 4 weeks, it was not completed until September 2009. Fortunately, it was completed after getting up. Open it up, otherwise a lot of people will complain!"

"The hotel is very modern and youthful in decoration, with complete facilities and a great gym. Coffee is available 24 hours a day. There is also a pool table on the first floor for free. The room is also nice, with a lot of thought and design. You can see that there is a design, and the clothes drying area can be clearly blown by the air conditioner. It is suitable for a short stay to wash clothes."

However, this Holiday In. Express has surpassed my California experience. Employees excellent at checkin. KKeile charlesI can't say this enough. The staff is phenomenal. We had the same housekeeper over our 8 days, and Katrina was so caring and patient. She was genuinely interested in making sure my family had wat we needed. If I could change one thing, it would be.. adding meat to breakfast. The one thing I hoped for every day was bacon or sausage links, and that just wasn't there, but everything else was so delicious. I loved the variety of waffles. I hope we can enjoy the pool next time as well. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel as well. Thank you to all the employees we had the pleasure of meeting.

Dear Team,
As a frequent business traveler, I have stayed at many hotels over the past three years. However, this is the first time I have encountered a hotel that charges for the two bottled waters provided in the room. I was surprised to see a charge of USD 6 per bottle (excluding tax), which I find difficult to understand.
While the bottles did have labels, I would not have consumed them had I known they were priced this high. I believe such practices are out of step with the current trend in hotel services, where complimentary water is typically provided to guests.
Small issues like this can unfortunately damage the overall image of the hotel. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that the bottled water charges will be waived accordingly.
This experience will make me more cautious when staying at BONVOY hotels in the future.

GGlennOverall, it was a positive experience. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Everything worked. No stains or bugs. The lady at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. There are a couple of things that stand out that could be improved upon, however. Air conditioner was very effective in its function, however the fan was very loud. Like a turbo fan. The other thing that stood out to me that could be improved upon, was light leakage even after the room darkening curtains were drawn. If they added an additional layer of blinds or something like that between the curtains and the window, to block out light, it would make a huge difference. Still, it was far better than the hotel we had last time down in Jacksonville, at this price range. The next time we're down there, we'll go back happily.

GGuest UserConvenient place with many stores and shopping around. We had a family of 4. Double bed room. The room and hotel is really old. The room cleanliness was mediocre, lots of stains, rust and even mold along the ceiling. The beds were comfortable. Sheets were felt and looked clean. All the things in the room worked. Free continental breakfast that ends at 9. Waffles, eggs, bagels, muffins, juice and coffee. The staff was not very nice but did provide one extra towel even though we asked for two. Looks to be owned by Indian but not for sure. Not too sure if I plan to stay there again.
