What a great hotel for business. This is my 3rd time visiting the new Embassy Suites Alpharetta Halcyon. Convenient location to my clients, beautiful lobby, friendly staff and walking distance to area attractions, shopping and restaurants. Love the evening reception with free drinks and snacks. The rooms are spacious with separate living room from bedroom/bath areas. I'll be back next month too....
We recently stayed here for a one night girl's trip. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. PROS: Location - right off 400, close to lots of stores and restaurants, 15 mi to N Ga Outlets, Starbucks, food, gas all very close Parking - plenty of spaces, self parking, no charge the park The hotel did not seem crowded, which was nice. No lines/waiting/hassle Heated indoor pool - our girls used this and enjoyed it Friendly Staff - they were cheerful and check in/check out was easy & painless They accommodated early check in request (1 hr), high floor and same floor rooms Room - comfortable beds, clean and spacious (esp the suite) Clever touches (”firm” and ”soft” stitched into the pillow cases, plenty of hooks, built in bench for luggage, desk with lots of charging ports) Mini fridge in room that wasn't crammed with items for sale (they should consider adding a few gratis liquid creamers for the coffee - powdered creamer is blech!) It was quiet at night in spite of being near the hwy and in a busy commercial area Hot breakfast was included with our rate CONS: This is not a luxury hotel - no valet, room service, spa, etc. but you don't PAY for that Some areas of our room showed its age - chipped paint, cabinetry a little worn In room coffee was terrible (but that's true for most hotel chains at this price point) Hot breakfast was just ok, nothing amazing but there were plenty of choices Front desk staff was thin - once when we called, no one answered; another time they were in the back and we had to call out to them to have them come talk to us Security - anyone could walk in the front; elevators did not require key to access upper floors; exterior doors on the sides did require key access (thank goodness!) Overall, it was a solid choice for what we were doing. I would recommend it for those who are looking for a clean, comfortable stay without breaking the bank.
We had a clean room and a good night's sleep, and were glad that Comfort Suites is pet friendly since we often have to travel with our small dogs. On the down side, there was some frustration at check-in. We'd specified we needed early check-in at noon due to needing to attend a funeral. We verified two separate times by phone that this would be available to us, but at arrival the desk attendant said this was not possible and we'd have to come back at 3pm. Fortunately I had noted who I talked with and after some tension between us she apologized for the miscommunication and found a room that was a bit different from what was requested but it worked out fine. We also interacted with a different individual, Angela, a couple of times and she was very sweet and helpful and also helped us with the TV setup. If you are planning on the complimentary breakfast we do not recommend it unless you are ok with just standard grocery items like cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. The hot bar was the absolute worst we've ever had. The eggs were inedible..like tasteless rubber. The sausage links and potatoes were not any better and all of the food was lukewarm. My husband will eat about anything but after a bite or two we both dumped our entire plates of food into the garbage - it was that bad. After a bowl of cereal we grabbed a couple of fresh oranges and left.

Well managed hotel right off GA-400. Very clean. Free parking. Interior has been remodeled, so there are bright and airy room configurations and common spaces. Excellent mattress in the room and decent towels. Best of all is “Ron”, the gentleman who was working the breakfast area on a Sunday morning. He carried on his kitchen/breakfast duties with positivity and a can-do attitude. He was greeting people, he’d talk to the little children coming in, he was whistling happy tunes and he was on top of the food ensuring things were hot & fresh. I saw him go out of his way to make oatmeal for someone when that wasn’t the standard breakfast offering for the day (instead it was grits). When people left he immediately washed down and sanitized their seating area. All too often I’ve seen people working in hotels or restaurants with snarly attitudes and indifference to others. People who are more interested in making you feel you are creating hassles for them and eager to just hide in a corner and play on their phone, but that is not the case with Ron. He was joy filled and totally customer service focused. Exemplary!
Great hotel with 24-hour coffee hot tea buffet. Breakfast was delicious and came out against the wall every time.
When checking out, be sure to tell the front desk that you have booked a Ctrip order, otherwise you will be charged the room rate (maybe my English is too poor, I thought people would help me unfreeze, so I handed in my credit card) but the front desk is very good After I had a business card and told me that she would call the company to withdraw, so there was no expenditure on the credit card statement received a few days after returning home. No money for parking, it's around the business district, convenient
A few words of reminder: 1. No one wants to swim in the swimming pool
2. If you missed the cleaning, it must be before 17:00, otherwise no one will clean. But I asked for a change of towel, and the front desk was very nice to help me change it.
3. If you have booked more than one room, show the name of the person who booked the room: I made a joke here. I booked 2 rooms. At first I said it was booked in my name. Then I gave the front desk brother 4 big and 2 small passports. I said we were not enough, and then he silently made two room cards for the same room. I explained to him that I had booked 2 rooms, but he said that only one room was found, and then I checked the names of other people, only to find that another room was booked. Haha, so! Learning English is important! !! !!

This hotel was well kept, clean and comfortable. The area was well lit and well maintained and felt safe. The room was very clean and cleaning was evident throughout the day. The breakfast was good and offered a lot of variety and Eyleen was replenishing and cleaning steadily. At the front desk, Brandi made my initial reservation, checked us in, gave us some overall information to enhance our stay, and checked on us on day 2. Everyone was very friendly and helpful!
