Eejayr2018My experience with your hotel in Mosses Lake was awful the duvet for bed was dirty and the bottom sheet had crusty crap on the sheets. It was obvious that the room was not cleaned and after looking at other parts of the room disinfectant has not been used in this century. Next time I am in Mosses Lake I will expect to see this site rebranded as a cheap hourly motel with the current management Right after checking in we left for a family emergency and when we returned and realized how bad the room was we had to sleep on top of the bedding. The phone headset was stuck to the phone base from all the sticky stuff had not been cleaned. The room was obviously not disinfected or even vacuumed which one would expect due to COVID-19. Housekeeping went into the room while I had a do not disturb sign on the door. I had medication on the bed and did not want anyone in the room and obviously respecting people’s privacy is no longer something your hotel chain provides. While with my dying father, I received a threatening note from Brandon that I had to check out by 3pm or I will be charged another night because they are not giving late check out no matter of status due to COVID-19. Last year I had the hightest status with you but I have recently been moved to Gold Status. Your status should not mean you get a clean room or that the person at the front desk does not have an attitude. I am a globalist with Hyatt and maintain a number of other statuses with hotels. I shared with Brandon how dirty the room was and the fact that the bedding was not changed and was obviously not taken care of. He did not do anything to address the problem, oh he gave us two free coffee for living in another person's mess. The staff failed to advise me at check-in that I would not get my late check out due to COVID-19. I guess they also forgot to tell me they are not cleaning or sanitizing rooms due to the pandemic either. As a guest that stays with you a lot I am horrified of the lack of cleanliness of the room and was so disrespected. I did not even take a shower because I did not feel safe because the shower was so dirty. All of this and I gave the hotel business for two rooms with the rest of the hotel vacant. I will never use this hotel again and frankly, this has left me to avoid your brand in the future and I will no longer work to achieve high status with your organization because this treatment was appalling.
I’m so grateful that this hotel is near the Gorge amphitheater. It’s about 10 min away with no traffic. Complimentary services: free parking, breakfast. & Wi-Fi. You can buy snacks & water at the lobby. Pet-friendly hotel (inquire the cost per night or stay). I believe most people staying tend to come for Gorge events, truck drivers, & nature enthusiasts. Pros: Fairly new hotel that opened in 2021 (?). There is a gas station with a convenience store, Mexican market, taco truck, & coffee stand within walking distance. Have not had an issue ordering an Uber. Lobby lounge opens 3-11pm I think if you want to grab a bite or drink there. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Slept so good after being out in the canyon at 104f weather. Cons: Not much cons except small things. There isn’t a closet in the room. You can’t open the window. Bathrooms could look more modern but are CLEAN & water works fine. It would be nice to open the window to let air in and out but the room does not smell nor does the hallway. Hallway also has AC. Walls are kinda thin. Neighbors might hear your business. I could hear my neighbors tv during the day & their music. It’s faint background noise that’s muffled by the wall. I have tried camping at the Gorge during Bass Canyon & it is not for me lol, yes i can hear the room next door but I’ll live. This a 5 star or high rated hotel so I’m not surprised by this. If you are a light sleeper or expect to not hear the room next door, spend extra money for a higher rated hotel or resort. Price of hotel with amenities is not bad & for last minute booking literally saved my festival experience. I stayed recently at a different Wyndham property (La Quinta in CA) rated 3 stars & Microtel was such a better experience for a 2 star hotel. I think the hotel property management at this hotel & housekeeping seem to be doing a great job! I appreciate this property!
My daughter and I came for a memorial service this past weekend. The staff were courteous as always, and at check in Cari was so understanding and compassionate, I greatly appreciated it. We enjoyed the breakfasts both days but Sunday was very busy and despite the busier morning Savannah was able to keep the food hot/fresh and the area clean, she was helpful in getting anything we needed with a smile. Aliesha who was running the front desk Sunday was so friendly and greeted every customer quickly and was so sweet to everyone I saw her interact with. She is always wonderful when we stay and this weekend was no exception!! I won't stay anywhere else in Moses Lake!! Thank you.
The rooms are basic but in great condition. Comfey bed. Very roomy. Updated and nice. Breakfast was fair, less than other places, but food nonetheless. Just off the freeway, Bobs restaurant nearby (good home cooking) and other restaurants
GGuest UserGreat hospitality upon my phone inquiry. Very forthcoming explanations about rates, the procedures, etc. The room was very clean and quiet. Any problems were immediately taken care of. The front desk people were obviously very concerned with the customers and any concerns or questions they had. The motel I had just left in Ritzville was just the opposite so this Motel 6 was quite a relief. Kudos to the whole staff at Moses Lake Motel 6.
