Excellent
GGuest UserThis hotel refused to offer the rate I booked online. Refused to believe that I work for the government. Spent 15 minutes in the back leaving me at the counter only to tell me they would not honour my rate. I'm a silver member. I've never had this issue before. I used the computer to book myself in at a hotel 20 minutes away only to have Joel then say he'd honour my rate plus give 2000 points??!! Why the change of heart?? I have never, ever been treated so poorly at a hotel. The lobby was crowded and it was humiliating. My loyalty to the Marriott brand is gone.
GGuest UserGlad they started serving hot breakfast, wish they had more options though ! I normally never have issues with hotel but this time I had a crazy person following me and my son and he made my stay very uncomfortable he was even arrested the next day grateful for that but still ruined my stay !! Just be aware of your surroundings cause it's a very secluded location ! Pool is nice and cold lol not heated opens later in the day never Early.
GGuest UserI stayed in this hotel for my business trip. The location of this hotel is very convenient, easy access to highway and the train goes to Manhattan directly. I used the train to travel Manhattan, it was a easy access to the time square. The room is clean, I was very impressed seeing the staff sanitizing heavy traffic areas. The staff is friendly and when I was there, one of the elevators was broken, but the staff helped us to carry the luggage to the room. Before I left, the elevator is repaired. This is quiet impressive of the service. It seems customer service is priority in this particular hotel.

GGuest UserStayed here for 1 night. Didn't realize until we pulled up this is a motel, not a hotel. It's between two major roads, so you hear the traffic. Room was clean, king bed was comfortable although the furniture is old. Good to have a microwave and refrigerator. No hot water for either late night or early morning showers, just luke warm. There's a 14 mile paved trail (South County Trailway) right behind it for exercise. COVID brown bag breakfast included a bagel, apple, and honey bun with coffee (no juice). Evening clerk was nice, morning not so much.
LLIThe hotel looks old, but it is well maintained and belongs to the HILTON hotel. The room has no way to open the window, it is a bit wet. The hotel front desk Xiaohe is quite willing to chat. It was very convenient to book the airport where Red Dot’s car went.
So frustrating and seriously disappointing. A gorgeous location with views of the Hudson River and some lovely architecture …..but…..the property is poorly managed and filthy. Sticky carpets and dingy furniture. It smelled in the reception area (possibly the Catonese restaurant next door…. it was mentioned people who stay in the rooms over the restaurant have been known to complain about the smell). Regardless of Michelin stars for the restaurant , if you aren’t into having Catonese fusion food smells in your hotel room…chose another location onsite. The Goosefeathers restaurant is leasing the space from the Tarrytown House and is not associated with the property otherwise. There is no room service or food on-site for the guests. We were advised there is uber eats and we can call. The staff on-site seemed seriously disinterested in our presence. Not a smile or staff asking “anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable?” No smiles….seriously lacking pride in their work and no desire to be a premier site. This is a shame. An experienced energetic manager is needed to snap this place into back into shape. Not sure what the business plan is….but it could be improved to be more vacation like - but right now it is sad….Oh well. Hopefully this review gets to management and at least they will clean the carpets. ps not a very good set up for handicap - wheelchair access due to the hills, but saw some unmanned golf carts….maybe if there was engaged staff those would be available to shuttle guests around the property. But alas, it felt like there was no one in charge watching the store.
CCHUANThis hotel shows Double Tree on the map, and the street tag is also Double Tree, but it is Hilton, so don't hesitate to go straight in. It is estimated to be cooperative. However, the facilities and renovations are in accordance with the standards of the Hilton Hotel, and the charges are normal roadside motel prices, so the price is very high. The first floor room has a balcony door to sit in the garden and have a cup of tea.
RResort53615387011I have to travel to Westchester County often during the month; and sometimes very last min. It seems that every time I check in, I am greeted with a smiling, welcoming gentleman by the name of Dwight. The quality of hospitality he extends is top notch. He recommends the best rooms for my taste as well as provides me with food options in the surrounding area. He provides water and I was even given candy during Halloween (I know, I know) but it's the thoughtfulness and courtesy he shares that keeps me coming back. Now I did have an issue during my extended stay; and, the manager that particular day did the bare minimum to resolve my issue. That manager also didn't let me finish my complaint before he was reciting a policy to me. This I found extremely rude and dismissive. Now, If Dwight had been there; I have no doubt my problem would have been handled with paramount concern and care. As a matter of fact, It is because of Dwight that I accepted the minuscule adjustment and only subtracted 1 star; knowing the issue, this review would have gotten a 2 star, Just Saying. Promote Dwight to Manager. Having a dedicated person like him in charge of staff would definitely have all the guest receiving the 5 Star treatment. Because if they modeled him; everyone from staff to guest would feel and have a fabulous experience. Dwight is a 5 Star Team Member!!!
