Very Good
AAmanda VaughanThis hotel is one of our favs. In the back of hotel they have a smokers area. It has an awning that protects us smokers from being rained on. Also if you want to enjoy some nature they have a long deck that goes through out the woods/forest & along the water. They also have a nature trail that leads out to an area where u can put your canoe in the water. I wouldn’t suggest swimming because the water isn’t clean for that. This hotel is practicing social distancing. The maids will not come into your room while you have the room occupied. The service is still great, they will offer fresh linens, Lysol wipes for cleaning, & anything else you may ask for. They are very accommodating. The hotel is very quiet throughout the day/night. I would recommend this hotel for families or business trips if your trying to stay for pleasure I would also recommend. It’s been a pleasure to stay here.
AAmanda VaughanI booked the king suite. I notice as soon as I walked in the TV in the main room didn’t work. I notified the front desk. I declined the help she offered. I just didn’t want to be charged for something that was broken already. The room was very clean. Throughout the nights the hotel was quiet, I was on the 2nd floor & there were a few times that I was disturbed by the heavy footed person above me. I went to smoke a cigarette in the middle of the night & was locked out, turns out key cards will NOT open side entry doors ever. In the morning I went down for breakfast & was surprised that the lady serving the food even worked for Holiday Inn. This lady had to be one of the rudest ladies I have ever had serve me breakfast. She seemed VERY aggressive slopping the food onto trays, very snappy, saying “what else!?” I asked for an oj then asked for another juice & she wasn’t to pleased with having to turn back around & grab another drink. I won’t be returning for the breakfast in the morning only because I don’t want to be in the presence of someone so aggravated first thing in the morning.
GGuest UserI stayed at the Inn last night after flying down to NC from NY. The staff was very friendly. The bed was comfy and the tv was large with a great picture. For $60 for a king room with smoking allowed it can't be beat. And only a 25 minute drive to the ocean. I have read some pretty negative reviews for this place. If your expecting a 5 star hotel you won't find it here. If you're looking for clean, very comfortable, safe and near the ocean, this is where you want to be. Don't smoke? No problem there are plant of non-smoking rooms available! No pets though.
