I went to New Orleans for a meeting, because I arrived at the local midnight, so I booked a hotel near the airport. The Days Hotel is actually a motel with free parking, but the facilities are quite complete, the most important is the proximity to the airport. With a 24-hour airport transfer service, we only need 10 minutes to walk. Because there is no living facilities around the airport, it is good to stay for one night. The breakfast buffet is very simple, with only a bit of bread and milk cereal.
Good location, near the airport, there is a free bus to the airport. There is also a rental fee of 35USD from the city centre. The rooms are large, very clean, rich in breakfast, fruit, fresh milk, bacon, etc. The hotel staff is great and the quality is much better than the average American hotel.
There are plenty nicer places nearby to use for proximity to airport. Will not stay here again. Reception was mechanical monotone and mechanical, closing with a curt, ”Pool is closed” with no further explanation. Sorry I interrupted their conversation when I approached desk to check in. They did hand me a stale cookie from behind the desk as I turned to go to my room. Pretty bare room, bed was ok for a one night stay. However, Closet door is broken, slanted/leaning up against door frame. Nice welcome to room. Shower: no conditioner in wall mounted bottle. Didn't notice until my long hair was wet and was rushing to check out. Thanks a lot! RoomSafe in closet was emitting foul odor. First time I've experienced that! Didn't hang up my jacket in there, needless to say. A/C in room was extremely loud, waking me several times. But it kept room cool. Nothing but sugar sodas in the 'for sale' pantry next to the front desk and No vending machines despite signs in the upper room hallways. And, finally, the airport shuttle driver, despite me being his only pickup at the airport, watched me struggling with 3 bags and just waited until I lifted up my own roll-on carryon bag and put it in the back of the van myself. And, at the hotel, he waited for a tip. At least the hotel was overall clean enough. I travel often and - again - will not stay here again. Life is too short and empty promises from PR people responding on this web site won't convince me to stay here again. Save yourselves the hassle. I often leave glowing reviews for properties that do a good job. Not here.

Clean, surprisingly quiet and decent location. We were in town for a funeral so we didn't really need to be downtown in the city. Location is very close to the airport and it was quiet and clean. It worked for our needs. There was a tiny pool which was good to help distract the kids from the sadness of the day.
The Hilton New Orleans Airport is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Kenner will find that the Hilton New Orleans Airport is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is only 8km from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and 22km from Ama Station (Historical), giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Pilgrim Baptist Church, LaSalle's Landing and Lions Playground all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Guests of this Kenner hotel can make use of the parking facilities.
Clean and nice room but not all rooms have microwave and fridge. Service could be better. No ice machine or beverage machine but they have ice water in the lobby. It was ok for one night.
… if your most important selection criteria is being close to the airport, which is less than a ten minute drive away (even considering the construction going on all around that area). Otherwise, we would not recommend this hotel as all other aspects of our experience here sub par. For example: 1. This hotel is in bad need of a renovation. Our room had dated furniture, broken fixtures, sloppy caulking, and peeling paint. 2. Amenities like in-room coffee, soap, shampoo, and conditioner were bottom-shelf Walmart quality, which only shocked given the high cost of our one-night stay. 3. Hot breakfast was also of the cheapest quality: not sure if whether the “sausage” contained much meat, and if it did what kind of meat it was. We finished the powdered eggs and toast, but little else. 4. Talking on the phone to her pals, the night shift front desk clerk couldn’t manage to look directly at us or offer a single smile when we checked-in. She also didn’t offer us bed-linen for the sleep sofa, despite seeing three of us for a room with only one bed. We had to return to the front desk to beg for it. The only things making this a 3, and not a 2 star rating, was the comfortable bed and proximity to the airport.
Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The hotel is only a 5 min drive from the airport. They have a shuttle that goes to/from the airport every hour. You will need to call or email after booking to get the shuttle times if you plan to use it.
The front desk brother is very polite and the service is very good. The hotel has a gym and a small pool. There are many choices to eat around.
The only thing is that the Crown Hotel was booked on Trip.com before, but before departure, I was told that the name was changed and it was not the Crown at all. This operation of Trip.com is indeed a bit unacceptable, it is false propaganda...

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and tidy. The room is not too big but it is enough. Check-in is fast, but the pre-authorization refund is very slow. The breakfast is simple. The room is not soundproof and it is always noisy outside the door. It can be sent to the airport for free.

MMadi SThis motel is special: I’m a motel fan and it is the first motel I’ve ever see that goes with an elevator! it gave me both a surprise and delight that I could easily carry my luggage to the second floor. You can tell the owner knows how to do business: it’s TV is even larger than the one I lived in downtown NOLA—and most important of all, the TV is working very well. Before switching to this motel, I lived in Aloft New Orleans Downtown for 3 nights, with nightly rate above $200, yet I felt quite inconvenient because Aloft lacked this and that. So really, amenities can be new or old, but the sense of the owner to invest in essentials to provide convenience does not necessarily mean that these things have to be “fancy” (but useless). While I wouldn’t say the level of cleanliness was also super—it was ok (though the blankets could have been nicer)—but overall in the world of motels, this one makes me feel that the owner does intend to offer you some needed service.

BBodony-LapresaDelightfully surprised with our last minute booking. The bed was super comfortable. The tv was huge and had tons of channels. The staff was great!
