Unpleasant stay experience. At the time of check-in, there was no door*** at the entrance. Someone was in front of the registration. After leaving the question, the front desk staff did not take the initiative to receive it. I also asked for the initiative to go forward. There was no smile in the process. Applying for a crib at check-in, one is bad, and I don’t see it until I leave it. The breakfast was delivered to the room and it felt a bit like a fast food, cutlery plastic. When I checked out, when I asked if I could give me a bill, the service staff threw two sheets of paper at hand. I was shocked. I asked if there was an envelope and then I threw it. The details of such a service made me think that I lived in a normal hotel. By the way, the hotel will charge an additional $30 environmental fee, saying that the hotel is built in a protected area...
On the side of the highway, Highway 1 chose this place for one night accommodation when coming by car. Hotel environment is average, standard Best Western, free parking, breakfast is available. You can walk to the beach in about ten minutes. The beach is good.
Booked a room here from Sunday to Monday was told twice Breakfast stopped at 10am I got there at 9:15 and everything had been put away. When a lot of people complained they then Brought out some undercooked eggs and reheated sausage. I was very disappointed as the staff was all in a bad mood that they had to do that.

The moment I walked into this Holiday Inn Express, Tony at the front desk set the tone for our visit....horrible. I walked in very friendly. Gave him my last name for check in and he immediately told me the CC I had reserved with didn't go through and he was about to cancel my reservation. He said I was lucky I walked in when I did otherwise he was about to cancel us. So much for a nice warm welcome & thank you for choosing our hotel...not. I told him that the CC I had used to book had been stolen and I put a different CC with my app. He was rude and brushed me off. Our room was large but dated. The hide-a-bed was very uncomfortable for my teen, all coils & uncomfortable. The 2 queen beds were ok but squeeky. The room wasn't super clean. The shower curtain was broken and when we used the shower the handle to turn water to shower mode came off. Our in room phone did not work. I sent my son down to the lobby to get some extra sheets & pillows for the hide-a-bed, Tony only gave him 2 blankets. He said they didn't have any more pillows or sheets. Whaaaat??? You don't have extra sheets & pillows??? My husband then went down & asked Tony for the sheets & pillows & Tony said he would be up with some. 30 minutes later he arrived. Breakfast was horrible. Coffee grounds in our coffee. Very limited menu. Attendant to serve us was no where to be found, had to ask front desk for help. We have been traveling all week for our kids Spring break and staying in various hotels along the central coast of California and this hotel has been the worst. Do not book a room here. Very disappointing.
The hotel is so big compared to San Francisco, the environment is also very good, the breakfast is rich, there are standard American breakfast oats, scrambled eggs, and meatloaf. The Lobby has a 24-hour free water bar, coffee, and juice. There are so many fruits in hotels in West America, so happy. The location of the hotel is very good, there is free parking, and Walmart is across the street, it is very convenient to go to the supermarket to supplement the needs of Highway 1. The downside is that the breakfast seats in the hotel are so few, you can only bring things back to the room to eat, which needs to be improved. The hotel is very cost-effective.
There are no attractions around the hotel and it takes 40 minutes to walk by the sea. As a temporary accommodation, if you are on vacation, you will be free from entertainment and leisure. Hotel Wi-Fi is not good, maybe I live on the far side, there is almost no net in the room. The hotel has coffee, bread, fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, but it is simple but can be eaten. The customer service was not particularly clean. When I went in, I found black stains on the sheets. The front desk sent me sheets to let me change, saying that the waiters were off work. In short, I feel like a hotel.
The location of the hotel is relatively remote. There is a large Wal-Mart next to it, which is quite convenient for buying some daily necessities. The hotel room is equipped with a stove, other facilities are OK, and the sanitary conditions are also good. Living here on Highway 1 is relatively cost-effective.
It’s been at least 20 years since I stayed in a Motel 6. This was the only location that would accept my sons’ 4 month year old kitty “Zephyr”. Really pleased with the accommodations and upgrades. Shout out to Wilson and Jessica for being so helpful and giving us a great room.
We first stayed here a few years ago. We were instantly impressed with the welcoming staff. We sincerely felt welcomed and appreciated the warm and friendly vibe. This was complimented by the cozy bed and good nights rest. As icing on the cake, we were offered a very generous breakfast the next morning! The staff, location, and breakfast make this stay a home away from home for us. We have stayed multiple times and can't wait to go back. If you appreciate the simple things in life, like a good nights rest, and all that I have mentioned above, then this is the place for you. Sincerely, EC

GGuest UserThe environment is elegant, about 100 steps from the beach entrance, the room is decorated with heat-insulated light curtains, very suitable for tourists to sleep late.
