We arrived Thursday night (between 6pm-8pm) to the hotel and the front hotel clerk was not friendly at all, we waited at the desk for a couple minutes with nobody around, she eventually came out of the backroom, never said hi and asked what my last name was. When we arrived to our room, my gf used the bathroom and told me the toilet wasn't flushing properly. I went to the front desk to borrow a plunger and tried to fix the toilet but it wasn't doing much, I thought it might be better by the next morning, but it wasn't. We were in the room late trying to get the situation corrected, the front desk said they would send someone up to fix it. A worker arrived fairly quickly and used a snake to clear the drain. We went out for the day and noticed when we got back nobody had tidied the room but we figured it was because we were in the room late into the morning dealing with the plumbing situation. The next day we left our room fairly early and were out for the day and noticed that nobody had tidied the room again (this is now Saturday evening), I had to go to the front desk to get some toilet paper because we were running low. I spoke with the front desk clerk and he seemed surprised that nobody had tidied the room and told me he put our room down for a ”full service”. The next day we left fairly early again and went out for most of the day, only to return back to our room to see nobody had come to tidy it at all. We are not demanding people and are fairly laid back, but not having the garbage’s emptied (they are overflowing at this point), toilet paper replaced or new towels added to the room is absolutely unacceptable. The next morning, we asked for a late checkout from the front desk, only moving it from 11am to 12pm, 1 hour, and the front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. Around 11:30am we get a very loud knock on the door, my gf opened it to the cleaner saying ”Do you have a late check out?”, she never said hi or hello and seemed quite angry that we were still in the room. Our experience was not good here, some of the hotel staff were quite friendly while some were the complete opposite, the breakfast selection was good and the staff were very attentive to that but the complete lack of cleaning or the checking up on our room was like nothing we've ever experienced before. We definitely won't be staying at a Home2 Suites again and most likely won't be even staying at a Hilton due to our experience.
The design of the hotel is very friendly. The rooms next door can be opened to communicate with each other. It is clean and tidy. Washing and bathing are also separated separately, making it convenient for residents to wash and organize at the same time. 🈶️For airport pick-up service, you need to call the hotel front desk
The upstairs outdoor walkway smells like urine. Less than productive people hanging out in the parking lot. The room was filthy. Long hairs falling out of my shower towels. The TV did not work. And a gentleman that we ran into in the parking lot told us he had rats in his room downstairs.

I went to Swarthmore to visit the school, so I chose this hotel, which is very small and very warm. Located next to Swarthmore, this is a good school district, so the town is very beautiful. The hotel staff are very good, we arrived at the hotel at 2:30 in the evening, the hotel also gave us a half-day room rate. Breakfast can be eaten outdoors, blue sky and white clouds, a lot of wooden hydrangea, and a good mood. There is Gratuity on the cashier's meal, and the specific tip amount can be written, between 10% and 18%, and the housekeeping daily tip is 3-5 knives. Great hotel. It is said that Philadelphia's consumption is much lower than that of Boston.
We often have to make a trip to Philadelphia for medical reasons and have found the microtel in Ridley Pa a perfect spot outside of the busy city. We have stayed here several times and always great. We had a little issue in computer showing we were checked out and maid service waking us twice but Bial McCoy the Gm was amazing and explained the situation and immediately made it right. Very professional and understanding I give him a 5 star honestly and we will be staying again. Nice new hotel super clean
I booked this hotel because we had an early morning flight, we were too tired to look at the ratings for this hotel and it’s reviews. Please don’t stay here, spend your money somewhere else. We got here late at night and we walked into a nightmare , not enough pillows, one towel for 4 people, bugs in the bathroom, smoke detector broken, not enough lighting. Brown spots in bathtub, wasted blankets, no microwave to warm our food. Couple fighting in lobby because they’re room had no air conditioning. Only good thing was that it was 8 mins from the airport but other than that never again!
La Quinta’s location was perfect for weekend trip. Staff were friendly and helpful on both days and evening shifts.
I loved the free shuttle service provided that allowed us to go to and from the airport and also to the Septa train services right at the airport station. The train service was comfortable which allowed us to visit down town PHL with ease. We just called the hotel again for pick up when we were back at the airport station again. The Downtown visit was a great experience indeed.
Word of advice - though the hotel works hard to maintain cleaniless in the main foyer and dining area, the room was spacious and tidy - though not fully equipped with personal items like hand soap so do bring your own - that will save you a lot of grief with no expectations of having a fully stocked bathroom. I do believe these may be available at the front desk. We had our own supply so it’s no big deal.
They do serve a good hearty hot breakfast of waffles, scrambled eggs and sausages along with choices of cereals, bagels, bread, juices, & yogurts. Coffee tea and hot water are available at the foyer anytime.
American Airlines put me here because I lost my connection to another American Airlines flight. It has transportation to the airport for free and it has a restaurant (open hours on a picture). The room was comfortable and had refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, coffee and tea, hair dryer and was clean, but not updated. I didn't walk anywhere, so I don't know about the area. Have a nice stay!
The Courtyard Philadelphia Springfield is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The hotel is conveniently located just 4km from Swarthmore and 17km from Philadelphia International Airport. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Springfield hotel offers parking on site.
