It has been a few days since I left this hotel, and I have been hesitating how to evaluate this hotel. Attached picture 1 is my order, ”74 square meters” ”double room with swimming pool”, the price is 126 US dollars per night. . Figure 2 is a screenshot of a random search on the Ctrip website. It still shows the room area of this hotel. The double bed room is 74 square meters with swimming pool and the super king bed room is 93 square meters with balcony. With the picture, the name of the store is ”Mountain View”. The basic judgment is that this is a good hotel, right? Just for 74 square meters with a swimming pool, the price is about the same, I left another B&B near the lake. However, the actual situation is that the room of the double bed is not big and the lighting is not good. It is a townhouse (about five or six rooms). Let's join together), the window is on the corridor, there is no privacy. The swimming pool is a public swimming pool (the only swimming pool in the hotel, shared by all) outside the corridor of the townhouse, separated by some green plants. ‘74-square-meter double room with swimming pool’ has become ‘18-square-meter pool view’! How big the gap is, I guess you understand it 😓 Where is the problem, Ctrip? Intermediary agent? Hotel? The hotel does not know. The reception area is very small, it is estimated to be 3-4 square meters, there is not even a chair (and can not be placed). . Seeing me surprised, the hotel explained that their positioning is a motel, not a B&B, nor a hotel. Later, I adjusted a room with a balcony (the privacy and lighting are better), which is estimated to be up to 23 square meters (how can it be 93 square meters). . The information on this website is too outrageous and too misleading! Bad review!

5! Ms. Ramirez, thank you for that welcoming message. You are unique in the hospitality business! I would like to share our story so you can appreciate your staff and your ability to train professionals in hospitality. We originally reserved a room at the other local Holiday Inn. Upon checking in, there was no acknowledgement of being a IHG member nor our Holiday Inn Vacation Club membership. That was fine but unusual when checking in to any Holiday Inn property. We registered and went up to our room. Unfortunately when we opened the door the room had a strong cigarette smoke smell. We immediately returned to the front desk to request another room only to be denied because of a policy that once a room was assigned, there could not be any room changes. We explained we could not sleep in that room. She told us there was nothing she could do. So we asked to cancel the reservation and her reply was ”there are no refunds”. We were stunned. We arrived at your hotel and were graciously greeted by Vee Blyden who patiently listened to our plight. He responded with the words we were hoping to hear ”I can help you with this”. He was so personable and professional that we were immediately relieved. Vee truly made us feel like we were welcomed guests! As we have extended a one night stay into four nights, we have interacted with others on your staff and all were friendly and professional. You have created and nurtured an amazing team. Congratulations on your efforts to provide an exceptional guest experience!
The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the outlet. The facilities are relatively complete. The room is very clean, the bed is large and comfortable. The front desk is very friendly and willing to help if you have any questions. The only drawback is the wifi. It will be disconnected. I don’t know if there are too many users and the signal is not strong enough, or if I haven’t set it up properly.

Location was great. Directly across the freeway from the outlet malls. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The room was more like an apartment with a full-size fridge, countertop stove, ,microwave - complete with dishwasher - It even had cooking utensils and dishes. Great 3 day weekend. And staff is so eager to please.

ZZaleChowWe were attending an early Oath of Allegiance Ceremony at the college and decided to stay overnight the day before. Initially, I had issues with our online booking so called the hotel and spoke with Chris. He was very kind, helpful and professional and immediately corrected it for me. The hotel had some upgrades going on but did not affect our stay. Our room was spotless, the bed comfortable, with a huge bathroom with shower and good amenities. Buffet breakfast was very good with interesting dishes such as mini quiches and good coffee. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. A very good stay, we would heartily recommend this Fairfield Inn.
GGuest UserVery nice. Great location. Clean. Extras available. Would definitely stay here again. Right at the outlet malls. So easy to get there. Off of freeway. Breakfast was better than most. Hot cereal, 2 kinds of eggs. Excellent place to stay.
The hotel charged me the inflated weekend daily rate of $80 for one night instead of the $346 weekly rate I requested. The management flunky at the front desk agreed to apply the $80 to the $346 weekly rate after giving me significant grief over their mistake. When we discovered a week later that she had not applied the credit correctly, we called to inquire about it. She continually intertupted and became belligerent before hanging up on me - twice. She also refused to give her name. This has to be the most disgusting example of unprofessionalism I have ever witnessed from a hotel chain ever
Ffeir0826This property punches well above its weight. For the pricing point, its a stunner, indeed its superior to many more expensive motels I have stayed at. STAFF Terrific, really friendly and helpful. Truly this above all else sets this apart for me ROOM Excellent. Not the newest, however it is a budget hotel. Very clean. Room and bed just huge. Refrigerator, TV, a/c FACILITIES Excellent. Pool looked great, however I did not have time to use it. Sitting and breakfast (included) area good. Ice machine good OVERALL Just terrific, indeed outstanding fir the budget price paid. Highly recommended
SsherryhoukMy complaint number is 9531579 - I originally had a reservation for Sat, July 27, 2019. I called Friday evening to inquire if there were any rooms available for that day and was advised that there was one room. I asked the clerk to add Friday to my reservation and was told it was taken care of. What actually happened was the clerk cancelled my Saturday, July 26, 2019 reservation. When I had the July 26 date added, I was very specific and told the clerk at least three times that we still needed the July 27 reservation as we would be in San Marcos until Sunday. We arrived late Friday night and got our room and then I discovered early Saturday morning that our reservation for Saturday was cancelled and there were no rooms available. I became frantic as I know that most hotels in San Marcos are completely booked on Saturdays during the summer. When I contacted the manager and told him the problem and that I was upset, he told me not to be upset with him as he wasn't responsible and he was there when the clerk cancelled our reservation. He offered to take $15 off our bill and I told him that was not enough for our inconvenience. H asked me what I wanted and I told him to keep my room and my reservation and if not to comp it and to find me a decent hotel as I know there aren't any. I asked why I should be inconvenienced and he had no answer. I asked to contact a customer that had not checked in yet and find them a room and he refused. He found a room at a bed and breakfast on the square. When I told the manager that was not good enough he told me not his problem and hung up on me. I called the complaint line and he did end up taking $40 off our bill, but I feel that was not good enough due to the stress and inconvenience. I called several hotels and they were all booked, so we went to the bed and breakfast and the air went out at about midnight. Our trip was miserable due to the ineptness of the staff at the Comfort Suites. The manager needs to be trained better customer service. We are Choice Members, but after this experience, I am hesitant to stay in another Choice Hotel.
GGuest UserMy wife and I booked 3 nights from 12/24/22 through 12/27/22. We intended to spend the Christmas holidays with our grandchildren in New Braunfeld. We arrived the afternoon of the 24th and got all checked in. Everything seemed to go well. When we settled into our room we discovered half of the light bulbs were missing and the bulbs that were in place were unscrewed. All appliances were unplugged. When we awoke Christmas morning, we discovered our coffee maker did not work properly. We called the front desk to get a replacement and we were hung up on. Assuming this was by accident, I went down to ask for a new one, I was told there is coffee in the lobby and they would see if they could find us one that day. When I got back to the room, my wife had roaches coming out of the hair dryer. I then canceled the remaining 2 nights. (Although we asked, we were not refunded for the first night.) We packed up and left that morning and booked the remaining 2 nights at the New Braunfels Comfort Inn. (A MUCH BETTER CHOICE). I would not recommend this Comfort Inn hotel to anyone.
CclcdiamondWe were close by everything we needed in an emergency situation. Staff was great and environment was very clean and well taken care of. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a great experience.
