We stayed at The Rochester Inn while in the area to attend The Ryder Cup and had an amazing experience! We were fortunate to secure accommodations so close to Whistling Straits and from the moment we first communicated with Kelly, the innkeeper, we knew it was going to be perfect! The Inn is conveniently located about an hour north of Milwaukee in the village of Sheboygan Falls - very close to Sheboygan and Kohler. With only six rooms, the property is very quiet. We stayed in #1, a two-story room at the front of the building, which was exceptionally clean and comfortable! The first floor has a nice sitting area and wet bar. Up a railed staircase is a queen-sized bed and bathroom with jetted tub. We were greeted upon arrival with a bag of local goodies and a sweet treat was placed in our room each evening. A beautiful and delicious breakfast is delivered to your room at a scheduled time each morning. Kelly was very helpful in recommending nearby restaurants and we enjoyed three of her suggestions very much! We would definitely stay at this property again in the future! My boyfriend had to stay for business. I came to visit and found The front desk staff to be nothing but gracious and nice. The breakfast ladies were also awesome. I felt that i was safe especially with the Covid precautions that this hotel had in place! Thank you for your service. You are appreciated!

Good hotel. Nice breakfast. Room was very clean. They are remodeling the hotel,but no problems. We had a dog and they were very accommodating. Front desk folks were very nice. Here were very comfortable. Will stay again.

The customer service from this hotel was terrible from start to finish. A couple of weeks before our stay (for a wedding), I called to see if they could change our room from two double beds to a king. They said yes, for an increase in price...from $204 to $445 (there was a big event near the hotel). I said no, we will keep the double at $204. But the week before my stay, I got a ”looking forward to seeing you email” with the price listed as $445. I emailed and called the hotel, speaking to the manager, every day that week to get the price returned to what was quoted. He kept asking if I wanted to cancel my reservation, but I always said no, I want the price you confirmed (and then referred him to my confirmation email from when I made the reservation 6 months prior). Upon arrival, there was no one at the desk, only a phone that guests could use to get service. The phone only sounded a busy signal, so we had to look around to find someone to check us in. Our room had a toilet that didn't work. We tried to call the front desk from our room....same busy signal as in the lobby. So, we told someone at the desk when we left for the wedding at 4:00. When we returned at 10pm, no one had fixed the toilet. We used our cell phone to call the front desk (because there was still the busy signal) and that person said ”The guy who does that stuff isn't here. He'll be back in a couple of hours.” Morning comes, no help at all, so we are all forced to go to the lobby to use the public restroom. We complained to Choice Hotel, and they said they would give us $80 back. It took at least 10 more emails to Choice to get issued a check for $80 bucks. Will never choose a Choice Hotel again, and I strongly warn anyone about staying at the Sleep Inn on Motel Road in Sheboygan until the management gets a complete overhaul.
