Clean room and a very clean bathroom. Plenty of parking (and it's free). They also had free breakfast with many options to choose from. Their location made navigating easy coming from California. The staff was more than helpful. Didn't get a chance to use their pool or gym, but the stay was still worth the price!

And when that breakfast is paired with a service that’s both friendly and efficient, it’s an experience that leaves a lasting impression. My recent stay at Gampton inn was made all the more memorable by their complimentary breakfast and the outstanding service provided by Tony, a true gem amongst their staff. From the moment I entered the breakfast room, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of a buffet spread that promised to satisfy every craving. It was a symphony of colors and textures – vibrant fruits, fluffy pastries, steaming omelets, crispy bacon, and savory sausages. The sheer variety was impressive, catering to both traditional and adventurous palates. My eyes were immediately drawn to the wafflestation. Tony, with a warm smile and a genuine eagerness to please, welcomed me with open arms. He effortlessly guided me through the selection of fillings, offering suggestions based on my preferences. The breakfast itself was a perfect start to our day, everything was cooked to perfection and brimming with my chosen ingredients. His meticulous attention to detail, showcased his dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience. As I moved through the buffet, my senses were further tantalized by the assortment of fresh breads, cereals, yogurt, and fruit. The waffle was flaky and buttery, the yogurt was creamy and refreshing, and the selection of fruits was bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the quality of ingredients and the care that went into preparing them. But it wasn't just the food that made this breakfast special. It was Tony's unwavering dedication to his craft that truly set it apart. He was a true master of hospitality, anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. He refilled my coffee cup without prompting, cleared my plate with a gentle touch, and even offered me a fresh napkin with a cheerful ”Have a wonderful day!” It was the kind of service that made you feel like you were the only guest in the room. Beyond his attentiveness, Tony’s warmth and humor were infectious. He engaged in friendly conversation, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another face in the crowd. He shared his knowledge of the local area, recommending hidden gems and must-see attractions that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. His genuine interest in my well-being extended beyond the breakfast room. He even went out of his way to help me locate a quiet area at the lake when I needed to join a zoom meeting, and because it wasn't hot yet, he told me about this perfect spot that had shade, and a perfect view of the water. This act of kindness, going above and beyond the call of duty, truly solidified his position as a standout member of the staff. After reading all the positive reviews, I booked this hotel, but my experience was extremely disappointing compared to what others had mentioned. The hotel condition was somewhat acceptable, but the lift had issues—it only started about 30 seconds after pressing the button. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with no utensils or coffee supplies, making it both inconvenient and frustrating. The breakfast was subpar, barely worth calling a meal. The staff were short-handed and far from considerate or helpful. It felt like any request was a burden to them. There was a stove in the room, but no instructions on how to use it. The stove was locked so that guests couldn’t use it until they received training from the front desk. According to the manager, guests needed to go down for an orientation. They advertised breakfast was included, but what was provided was disappointing—stale eggs, muffins, and packet oats. There wasn’t even enough coffee available, and I had to wait for a new batch to be made. When I raised these concerns, the manager simply said that this is how all their hotel chains operate now and that they couldn’t be different. If this approach continues, it’s only a matter of time before someone else buys the place, and the current owner goes out of business. It seems the owner is focused on cutting corners to make a profit, without considering guest satisfaction. Overall, I strongly advise against staying here. This hotel fails to meet even the most basic expectations. I will never use this hotel again.

I stayed a Sat/Sun visit for biz and solo, and it was literally perfect from the start. I sent them a chat via the Marriott app, and ended up communicating with Sheryl, the actual GM (Boss Lady) of the entire property - and she completely hooked me up, when she had no obligation to. I met Amelia and Melinda upon check-in, both very nice yet professional. They both did me a second favor, by letting me check in early; and as I wanted to wash my clothes in their Guest Laundry, that was huge to me. And this was great first impression altogether, first-class customer service (and why I always trust a Marriott property). Speaking of guest laundry, they knew I was needing it, so ended up putting my room just steps away from their Laundry Room (thank you!!), and their laundry facility was clean and secure and washer/dryer knocked it out. Did 2 loads, so convenient and 1000% better than some laundromat. My room was one of nicest I’ve stayed in, in all my travels. Chargers outlets fridge big closet comfy bed awesome fully-stocked clean big bathroom. That night I ended up talking to Allen at their FD, and another great, professional, nice guy. Without a doubt, my fave thing about this hotel, is their staff. Absolutely I will be back, and I highly recommend whenever you’re in the area. BTW there’s all kinds of cool places all around and within 10-minute drives.

GGuest UserWe found the hotel to be very nicely appointed with comfortable beds and a spacious room featuring a lounge chair and long desktop surface. The staff was courteous and responded to our request for a microwave in the room. It is apparently one of a few hotels that doesn't have a ****** and we appreciated that. Our conference group utilized the very large rooms for talks and dinner. The only thing I found odd was that you couldn't access the stairs to go to your rooms (stairs are for emergency only) so the elevators were very crowded when our large group ended events.

王王The hotel is large, there is a conference center, the accommodation room is a bit far from the front desk. The clerk is very careful to tell how to stay, but the breakfast coupon is not provided. We booked 2 rooms and double breakfast. The result is not provided, and the confirmation from the front desk is given. One room for one voucher, we repeatedly confirmed whether it was 2 copies, the front desk said Yes, and ended up in the morning to eat at the restaurant and say a voucher. At the time of checkout, due to the delay of the UnionPay card pre-authorization, the friend could not confirm the payment. The friend changed to the VISA card and the 2 rooms were deducted for 3 times. We went to the bank credit card center to confirm that 3 117.94 knives (1 room rate) were deducted. The hotel clerk did not admit that he only deducted 2 117.94 knives and only provided bills for 2 rooms. If we disagree, we can only wait until 5-7 working days after the hotel clears the account.

CCHENAnd its painful experience, booking.com did not send Ctrip orders to the hotel, resulting in we check-in from 12:00 to 1 point, repeated attempts will not work. Finally, use your own credit card check-in, and wait for Ctrip to give me a final solution. Easy parking. Breakfast because check-in is too late, the elderly help to come to the room, because the child can not get up. Unable to comment.
