Please stop dirty house keeping from cleaning my room when in gone. She doesn't wear any type of masks and cough 247 and she steals. Spit in the shower also. 5th time I gotta throw away any open food or drinks. And the room stanks like she did something nasty on purpose. I cleaned the bathroom and shower wit Lysol. I came back after she cleaned and ran the bath water instead of running the shower to rinse. And there u have it a lugie. Big spit

My husband had to be in Canton for work, so he booked us into the Holiday Inn Canton. I was thoroughly impressed. They run breakfast everyday from 6am to 10am, and it had a lot more choices than other free breakfasts that I’ve had in the States. There was an abundance of breads - bagels, sliced bread, English muffins. Hot eggs and sausages, 3 kinds of yogurt, 3 kinds of cereal, and 3 kinds of juice. They also had cinnamon rolls that were quite good. Coffee was solid as well. The room was very clean and very big. WiFi was solid the entire trip, which was very much appreciated since I was working from the hotel. Bed was firm and pillows weren’t the best, but serviceable. Staff were all very nice. Honestly, no complaints and I would not hesitate to stay here again when we’re in Michigan.

The staff needs to actually clean not brief the rooms and get mad because some people wake up a little late.

Whenever we fly out of metro we stay here. Our room was clean and updated and quiet. They have free parking for I belive a week to 10 days in a gated secured area. There are many restaurants within a half mile away as well as a restaurant on premise. Hotel staff are great and they offer free shuttle to and from the airport. Also a free breakfast in the morning.

We stayed overnight on January, 6/23 in Room 203 at the Holiday Inn Express- Detroit Metro Airport 7680 Merriman Road Romulus, MI 48174 Upon entering our room we noticed a soiled cleaning cloth on the floor in the bathroom. We also noticed the sink did not drain properly, there were no glasses for water and the TV and Remote did not work properly. The remote did not control the TV and the TV audio and video kept pausing repeatedly making it impossible to watch anything. We called down to the front desk, but the girl was busy with check-ins, and said she would come up later. She did not come up but we assumed she had either just been too busy or forgotten, which is understandable. The USB ports to charge our phones underneath the TV did not work as they were too loose and the cords kept falling out. I also was never asked if I was an IHG Member upon check-in or check-out, and received no points for my stay. This is just a personal preference, but one other thing we didn’t care for were the toiletries not being individual samples as it seems unsanitary because of COVID. I reached out to IHG on Twitter on January 7 and received a response right away. They reached out to the Hotel Manager to investigate and said I would hear from her. I received an email from the Hotel Manager January 10 stating she knew nothing about my concerns, so I forwarded her a list of issues we experienced. Finally, on Monday, January 16 after receiving no response from the Manager, I called the Hotel and asked for the Manger, who maintains she did not receive my email, which was a direct reply to hers. She offered me 8000 points, which I did not receive. This Hotel stay was the first night of our 2 week vacation. The first since COVID. I am not impressed by the apparent disregard for patrons by the Hotel Management. January 18, twelve days after our stay, and there was still no resolution, which is completely unacceptable Customer Service. No one should have had to deal with this while vacationing. Just to follow up, IHG Twitter added 10,000 points to my account, and I received 1,468 points for the stay. It appears 5,000 points were added as well, from the Hotel Management? Unsure? I do not enjoy leaving a bad review but also do not appreciate having concerns/issues seemingly dismissed as unimportant, and for that reason alone we WILL NOT be staying in this location again. P.S. I was greeted warmly. All the employees were nice and did their best to accommodate all my request. I’m not from Michigan, so it seemed pricey for the quality. However this weighed no bearing on my stay. They have a restaurant in the hotel that prepares food, which is convenient - but some things weren’t up to par. For example I got fruit with my breakfast, and the not only looked old but also taste old. With that said - front desk and housekeeping were amazing. Thank you!

My family and I stayed here for a quick stay after missing our connection at DWT. It was a very nice and comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean along with the surroundings. The hotel is located in an area where we could walk to get food to eat, or purchase other items for our 24 hours stay. We left early the following morning, so we did not utilize the breakfast area, but they do provide a complimentary breakfast with stay. If I am back in this area, I would definitely stay here again.
