This was a last minute trip for an unexpected reason. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. We usually request a certain room and when it is available they always provide it. If the room is not avaible they provide a similar one for us. You will not beat the location of the hotel. You have everything you need within walking distance.

Hotel location is very good, the room is very clean. From Detroit to Niagara Falls, stop by. The small city is very European, and the nearby shopping and dining is very convenient. We found a Japanese restaurant nearby, only a four minute drive away.

This is a standard quick service hotel. That is quite well-maintained. The facility is a bit older, but has been refreshed. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, in the air conditioning works well. The bathrooms are modest in size, but have excellent water, pressure, clean towels, and the bathtub and area around it were absolutely spotless. There is a small pool, a fitness center that was essentially treadmills and some weights; nothing fancy but what you need. Check-in and check-out were quick and friendly. For road warriors: there is coin laundry. They also have grab and go items. If you’re visiting this area this I’d a safe bet for a clean room.

The hotel stay was nice. The room was very clean and spacious. The food was basic but at least it was available to the guests. Everything you needed was in walking distance.

Hampton Inn Westlake offers a very nice room at a decent, fair price. Check in was a breeze and they had both cookies and popcorn in the lobby in the evening. Room was nicely appointed, bed and linens were comfy, although there are only two towels in the bathroom. TV worked great as did internet. Room was clean. Basement level was under construction, but we did not notice any construction issues either on the lobby floor or the fourth floor where our room was located. Note: hotel front desk clerk did not honor room preference or location reuest, however this was a minor thing. The hotel is located right next to a Bob Evans with a Wendy's next to it and there is a huge shopping mall/center type area on the other side of the intersection which would offer something to do and numerous places to dine without having to drive any further. Hotel was easy to find off I90. Breakfast was good with some decent variety, but did not offer as many choices as other Hamptons I have stayed at in the area. Still good, hot, and filling. We didn't use pool or exercise room as we checked in late and left early, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and I would stay again if in the area.

The room that was arranged at the beginning did not even hit, but the front desk gave the room a lot. The traffic is very convenient, just off Highway 90, not far from the beach of Lake Erie. The breakfast was average, the cake was sticky and it was difficult to swallow.

Very disappointed with our stay at Hampton Inn. We reserved our hotel room months ago, as part of a wedding block. We had our two kids with us so we booked a room with 2 queens. When we arrived, another guest was being checked in and he was told that there were no queens available so he would get a king room with a pullout bed. However, when we checked in, no one said anything to us about no queens being available so we thought we were good. We were not. Not only were we put in a room with just 1 bed for 4 people, our HVAC unit did not work. When I went down to the front desk, that’s when they had told us that they had accidentally booked 2 contracts with groups for the same weekend which led to literally no queen beds being available. If they had communicated this to us when they had learned the error, we might have had time to find other lodgings. Unfortunately everywhere was completely booked and we had to stay for 2 very uncomfortable nights. Moreover, while the hotel will say they recently underwent renovations, it is all aesthetic. We were moved into another room with 1 bed just due to the HVAC issue. Our new room’s door did not close all the way. The shower dripped all night. There was an external door that would not shut all the way either, and we saw people who did not look to be hotel guests going in and out. I alerted the front desk but they did not seem to care. The hot breakfast was ok. The employee who ran the breakfast on the weekend was excellent. She was the only bright spot in our whole stay.

Nice place to stay for the night. Stopped here on our road trip… located in safe office park area off highway. Patio area off lobby if you want to sit outside. Lots of seating in lobby for breakfast which is fine. They have a huge indoor pool & hot tub AND a splash pad area for the kids. Busy spot. Room was clean & comfortable. Towels are tiny. We had to ask for more as there were 2 in our room for 4.
