I just wanted to share that room #110 at this Rodeway Inn on East Main Street has grab bars in the bathtub, even though this room was not an ADA room. I think every motel had grab bars in every bath room. I also appreciated the single serve coffee maker and the refrigerator in the room.

Called ahead to see if their pool was operating as this is important for our son. Was told it was working but when we got there was then advised it was out of order for 2 weeks. The room is needing upgrades; furniture dirty and rickety. Bathroom floor was soiled and needed mop. Carpeting looked dated and had stains on it. AM breakfast was a joke. The ham was dried up, there were few offerings and there was a server behind a series of tables that block your view of what was available in the refrigerators. Have stayed in many Choice hotels but was disappointed in this one. The beds were comfortable but the cold air leaking around the heating unit in the room, made it challenging to keep the room warm. Location on a hill could have been a factor on this windy day.

We overnighted at this property on our way back from Florida. I would rate the accommodations adequate. The room was a bit ”used”, but clean. The cabinet that housed the refrigerator was broken, as was the cover on the AC unit. Neither of these issues affected our stay, though. The tissue box in the bathroom only had 3-4 tissues, which was not enough. The ice machine on our floor also was broken. Supposedly due to COVID, the breakfast was no longer self-serve. A staff member was positioned to serve guests. There were several guests waiting to place their orders at 6:30am, so we passed on the free breakfast and stopped at a fast food place instead...

The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was good considering the price. The service was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were super fast and easy.

But, this time we checked in online and stopped at front desk for our keys. The room selected for us was not cleaned...unmade bed, towels on floor and room in disarray. We returned to front desk and a very nice person (Victoria I believe) apologized profusely and assigned another room. This time the room appeared fine; after we unpacked saw that the bath sink did not drain and was somewhat unclean with dead flying insects in it. I picked up the phone to notify the front desk but the phone buttons did not work so used my cell phone. We were not going to ask for a chg of room but wanted to be respectful in reporting issues for the next guest. This morning I see that the alarm clock does not work. Although these were not deal breakers for chging a room after being on the road 10 hours, they were inconveniences that have never happened to me in over a decade being a Hilton honors member and traveling frequently in business. Check out your room before unpacking or explore other hotel options.

I had a very comfortable and clean room. The linens and pillows were clean with that a nice fresh scent. I like how the pillows are all a different density so you can pick the perfect one. Temperature control is important to me for a good nights sleep and the digital control on the unit was easy to use. Just far enough from the highway so you don't hear the road noise. There is a Cracker Barrel across the street for that evening meal or a hearty breakfastif you want more than the hotels continental style breakfast. Being a solo traveler I am looking for a safe secure place to stay and this fits the bill. The staff members are friendly and efficient. As a Choice Rewards Gold Member I also enjoyed the extra perks this hotel does, with special parking close to door and a gift bag on the way in or on your way out in the morning.

GGuest UserThis was our second stay here. It is clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were given a price-match for a lower price I found on an online booking site. The breakfast was tasty with many options to choose from, and the dining area was clean and well-stocked. We will stay here again if traveling through the area.

IindyfanjudyI just wanted to share that room #110 at this Rodeway Inn on East Main Street has grab bars in the bathtub, even though this room was not an ADA room. I think every motel had grab bars in every bath room. I also appreciated the single serve coffee maker and the refrigerator in the room.
