Days Inn by Wyndham Grande Prairie

1st off normally I like to book directly with the hotel rather then 3rd party services..... the concierge over the phone was very snobby and fake pretending to get me a "discounted rate" while giving me the standard room rate listed on their own website. After being on the phone for much longer then nessisary and it came time to place the booking I gave all of my correct information and for some reason he could not place the reservation in their system.after 2 attempts he gave me a ridiculous reason...... that since my credit card expires in 3 months that might be why it wasn't working. After being on the phone for almost an hour with this level of inexperience or incompetence to make a simple booking I gave up and booked online. My week and a half job got cut short and I needed to check out early. I went to the front desk to check out and was told that since I booked online that they could not check me out..... I called the booking agency and was informed that I can check out early but that at this Hotel it is the HOTELS policy that early checkouts need to be initiated by the hotel first before it can be processed for a refund. Unless you want to spend hours of time managing your stay both with direct booking or 3rd party as I have had to do (because of insufficient staff training and hotel policy) I would stay at a different hotel in the grande prairie area.

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate.

We stayed in a pet friendly room on January 31/24 My puppy ate **** bud and died. I found the container and a coin under the bed. People pay a pet deposit because it is extra cost to clean the rooms after the pets. If it was a baby that found it. There would be a whole different conversation. I tried talking to the manager to let him the first time the staff said his wife said he was at Costco the net time the staff said he wasn’t there and had no idea how to contact him

Days Inn GP is some distance from the city. However its right beside the highway and is fairly quiet. Breakfast is not as good as some other properties, but still ok. Lots of restaurants near by. Shopping is about 3km away.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was large and well kept. Breakfast looked great,though I didn’t try it. The location was perfect for my needs,though there’s not a lot around it for amenities which may be something to consider for others

Days inn Grand Prairie is a very nice and clean hotel The people that work there are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was awesome. We will definitely be staying there again when we are back that way.. thank you to all the staff.👌❤️

nice freindly staff, clean rooms, and awesome breakfast, including bacon, sausage, tater tots, scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, waffles, milk including chocolate milk, orange and apple juice. Fruit and yogurt as well.

The room was clean but a little run down, stains on the ceiling. Front desk was friendly. The hair dryer almost electrocuted my husband. It kept shorting out. We went down for breakfast at just after 9 am, it closes at 10 am. Not much there. I found a staff member & she put out more food, she was busy on her phone. The waffle mixture was empty. Coffee not very good. Orange juice was really good.

Clean & Convenient to city without being right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Excellent breakfast choices. Comfortable beds. Lots of parking. Will definitely stay there next time we're in the area.
