We stayed at Riverbank Cottages in September. Geraldine, the host, was so accommodating and friendly. She has prepared an fantastically helpful book explaining all the ins and outs of the cottage, giving numbers for local take aways, information about restaurants, bars, sights to see. The location is very beautiful with some lovely riverside walks. It's also right in the village of Scarrif so grocers, pubs, restaurants all in walking distance. County Clare is stunningly beautiful and the people are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. A beautiful introduction to the island of Ireland for my parents and father-in-law. Cannot recommend Riverbank Cottages highly enough.

Houses are so spacious, spotless and a short walk from Scariff main street and Tumgraney. Geraldine is a fabulous host and we felt right at home. Great for touring Clare, Limerick, Galway. Will be back for another visit, our Australian family loved their time chilling in Scariff
