Very good breakfast. Tasty and freshly cooked with lovely service from Tatiana. The room was comfortable and clean and bed easy to sleep in. Only complaint was quite hot in room. A bottle of water in room would have been good. Overall relaxing place to stay. Thank you

Attended for food with family, we hadn't eaten there in a while but previously it was ok. The first thing I noticed was the lack of any Xmas atmosphere bar a tree & lights, no Xmas Music in the background. Next was the misery that 90% of the serving staff looked. We sat at a table and waited ages with no-one even offering a Menu. I went up to the bar and was eventually furnished with our Menus. I ordered the open Chicken Cajun on Sourdough. This came out and i tasted the chicken.....Stone Cold....I immediately asked the wattress was this supposed to be cold.....she didnt know.....it was returned to the kitchen.....was back to my table within a couple minutes.....i knew immediately that the chicken had been removed from the bed of Salad and incarcarated in a Microwave......ya could bounce it off the Wall. I told the Waitress it was now inedible to which I got an eyeroll. I asked for a menu and ordered what others had at the table that resembled something I could Eat....the toasted Sandwich...at that stage I ate it but the good was gone from our Meal out. I went to pay and Miss Eyeroll Waitress informed me that I wouldnt be charged for the Open Chicken Sandwich......Ya Reckon!!!! Overall will not be back in a hurry.....Very poor but especially when out for a family meal at Xmas.

This hotel is clean and comfortable but has very little atmosphere. Despite it being a Sunday night, the bar had no music playing and was not very comfortable. Many of the breakfast items had a €5 surcharge and the pool closed early with no prior notice which was disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked for help

Just back from another Christmas Stay at this beautiful hotel it is our Third or Fourth Christmas Stay we love our beautiful Room, Food The Staff are so welcoming and when they know you they will do anything to help you I have Mobility Issues and they are of great Assistance I had a Cough Christina wanted to go to Tesco for me. The Food is beautiful. Hotel is very clean a credit to Housekeeping. Music was very good for the 3 nights and it was lovely to meet people you had seen at Christmas the previous year. Excellent deal for Christmas. We will be back in 2025. Thanks to Martina, Christina, Anne Marie Grace Mella who were all so nice.

Recently stayed here for a family wedding in the area. Myself and my partner checked in to a nice room, very spacious, the room did have 2 beds although a standard double was booked. We walked in only to discover 2 big holes in the wall. Since we were attending a wedding, we did not have time to bring it to the attention of staff and we knew we would not be in the room for long. Upon checkout I approached a lady on the Reception desk who was at the time on the phone when I approached, I was happy to wait while she finished the call to speak to her and bring the room situation to her attention, she proceeded to speak on the phone and grab the key cards out of my hand, she then gave me the gesture of a thumbs up to tell me I’m assuming all is ok and we’ve been checked out. I decided to stand there and wait to speak to her rather than walk away. This is terrible customer service, you would expect her to finish the call and then proceed to check us out and ask us how our stay was. When I did bring it to her attention, she seemed dismissive regarding the whole situation and advised I should have brought it to their attention yesterday to which I advised I was at a wedding. The hotel was not full this night as a relative had booked last minute. As someone who has previously worked in hospitality, this room should not have been sold. For the price paid the room was not up to standard and terrible customer service from the Receptionist.

Just back from another wonderful Christmas at the McWilliam hotel Claremorris. Great hotel fantastic food amazing staff that really can’t do enough for anyone. Music with John in the bar each evening. Great fun had. Would highly recommend 😊

We were at the McWilliam for Christmas dinner. It was absolutely lovely. The food, the service were fabulous. Everything was served hot. I have never had Christmas dinner out before, but wouldn’t hesitate on having it at the McWilliam next year.
