It is a Motel 6, granted, but if the sign says someone is available 24 hours/day in the lobby, and there is no one there all night long, that’s a disappointment. After getting in from a late evening attending a play, we realized that the bedding was incredibly thin (the bedspread was the same thickness as the top sheet, the blanket about twice as thick as the sheet). We tried calling the office a few times, and walked to the office twice, but, all to no avail. A handwritten note said someone would be back in 5-10 minutes, but that wasn’t the case. The heater in the room was also blowing cold air. After stripping the bed in the morning, we also noticed that the bed hadn’t been rotated on schedule (there are stickers on the mattress with instructions). There was also no shampoo or conditioner in the room. Pros: it was an inexpensive room. There was a mini fridge and a small microwave. The TV carried the Brentford-Chelsea match without any difficulty. Parking was ample.

We just love the Best Western Seaside Plus!! We would not even consider staying anywhere else. It has become our go to place as many times as we can a year. Very well maintained hotel and rooms are always clean, with comfortable beds.Always helpful, friendly staff for anything we may need. I love that it is just steps from the beach if we choose to walk it, or ocean view rooms have a great balcony to sit on and just watch and listen to the ocean. The in house, Ocean Beach Cafe has good food, but hotel is very conveniently located close to restaurants and Safeway for anything we may want. Love that they are also very pet friendly. Since we discovered this hotel several years ago, we have talked our CA friends into meeting us for a ”Same Time Next Year” get together every year, and they love the hotel as much as we do. Just no other place for us. Casual, comfortable and clean!!

My friends and I had a great experience staying here the location was perfect and staff were very helpful. I enjoyed going in the swimming pool which I had to myself whilst another friend went into the gym. The apartment was great and had all the facilities you would need.

We stayed at the Ebbtide for 7 nights in September '22 with our adult son and dog. The hotel was kept very clean but does need some updating. It is very close to everything and we found we were able to just walk everywhere. I would have loved for there to be an air conditioner and firmer pillows.

100% will stay again. It's not oceanfront but the river view and calm evening were perfect. From the moment I got there the front desk person, Mike was welcoming and genuine. Our family had to make an unexpected stop on our way home and of course, almost everything was booked or way too expensive. Mike was understanding and helped us to get the best deal possible with our limited budget. Not just dog friendly but very accommodating to our pooch. The hot breakfast is complete with a futuristic automatic pancake maker. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The room was completely set up for a work room and we could have easily done remote work in this setting. 24 hour pool & Hot tub and minors aren't there after 10:00 pm. If you'll need a late check out make sure to ask early as the spots fill up quickly. Even with that, the staff helped us to squeeze another 30 minutes out of our stay. We could hear some foot traffic above, but to be expected in a family and dog-friendly hotel.

The room was perfect for the view and if you have dogs it was the best we have stayed in. The deck had a gate so you could walk straight to the beach. The room was very comfortable, as was the bed. There were a couple of things they could improve on. The parking was very limited, with a small narrow drive through that you had to back into or out of. The people above us were extremely noisey on our last night and when I called the office number at 10PM, the woman who answered was in Washington and asked me what I wanted her to do about it, I told her to call them or something and she said she would take care of it in the morning. By that time it would have been to late as we were leaving in the morning. As much as I loved the room and the view, I probably would not stay again.

The hotel is right next to the Route 101 and easy to find. The lobby was extremely clean and shinny. The breakfast was also a plus. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI took a 2-day trip here to get away by myself for a couple of days and this could not have been a nicer spot for that. Everything in this gorgeous boutique hotel is designed for maximum relaxation and comfort, from the river views and watching sea lions swim by while sipping morning coffee, to the super-comfortable bed and Frette linens, to the delicious Scandinavian food and yummy cocktails in the hotel restaurant The Knot, to the unusual barrel saunas that guests can relax in. The staff are all incredibly nice, and were happy to upgrade my room when I asked for a river view (yes, I paid for it), and gave great recs on places to eat nearby too. I loved how so much that i wanted to see and experience was either within walking distance or a short drive away. I can't wait for my next stay!

GGuest UserLocation was great: easy access to the beach, quick walk on the promenade and we were on Broadway/Circle drive. Parking was good. Pool and hot tub were great, great if traveling with kids. Continental breakfast was above average compared to most other complementary breakfasts. Nightly cookie ”reception” was a great bonus as well. Room was more than adequate. King Bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. Kitchenette was very convenient. TV, sinks, bath/shower were all working fine. The building was showing a little wear, but nothing too bad to complain about, The one ”complaint” I would have is that the room did not have AC or even a vent, and the fan they had in the room was working but did not rotate. Since we were on the first floor we could only open the windows when were in the room, so when we would come back from an outing the room was a little stuffy and hot. Besides that, everything else was great. Will definitely stay again if available.

Theb lobby was confusing to find and staff wasn't exactly inviting. But location is great and run was affordable and cute. There was no conditioner though and that is an issue for my daughter and me. I'd stay again though

GGuest UserI cannot imagine the difficult times hotels have had since March 2020. This property is conveniently located and moderate to high in price. It’s frustrating that even though their pool and hot tub are unavailable and that not even individually wrapped items are not provided for breakfast, that per night costs have not gone down as compensation. A call to the hotel directly got me higher prices than major online sites, but the night staff searched for online price matches and got me a cheaper rate than I was assuming I would pay. Check in staff was friendly and efficient and had good suggestions for nearby dining. Management should plan to spend time post COVID on sprucing up rooms and common areas which are starting to look shabby and dated. Room layout is good and the bed is comfortable. A microwave and refrigerator were in the ensuite bar area. Free WiFi is provided. Lots of TV channels but no guide or schedule available. The event I was attending did not tell me that a folding chair would be most helpful and I don’t carry one in my car, so I was pleasantly surprised that staff arranged for me to borrow one from their break room, which was enormously helpful.
