As an American historical building, the hotel is very simple and has an American flavor. The staff are friendly and helpful. And the location is extremely superior, the surrounding walking distance is the art museum and the history museum.

Adjacent to the Business School of Case Western Chu University, the front desk staff at the hotel have a good attitude, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, and a nice hotel.

Beautiful building with friendly staff. Convenient parking on the side. Appreciated the original artworks. Only a short walk to Cleveland Museum of Art (worth it for the trip alone).

The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. I enjoyed the music that was playing in the common areas. Old standards by many favorites. Had a great stay and slept well.

SUPERB! This Hotel was definitely on of the 5 best hotels I ever stayed in my life! It was an overnight stay in Cleveland to back home after a week of road trip but as soon as we saw the over 110 year old builiding and the area we fell in love. Staff were super friendly and nice and the interior hotel ambiant was wonderful. looking forward to stay there for more than one night next time

Always a pleasure to be at Glidden House. The nostalgic yet classy atmosphere is nothing short of amazing. Breakfast is always phenomenal and the breakfast setting is like being in a movie. On-site parking and surrounding areas always feel safe and secure. Walking distance to so many things! Beds are soft and comfy. Hallways are quiet, and room to room noise is almost non-existent. We will always choose Glidden House when available!

The staff are world class. I was visiting my sister at CWRU and splurged on my first hotel room, to avoid sleeping on the dorm floor. It was perfect and I will be back!

The unit was clean and well appointed except for lighting. The LED lighting as you walked in was very industrial to me. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable but didn’t give the warmth of other hotel rooms it was very stark and uninviting

getting a little tired. the food and service at breakfast buffet was great. on day of checkout the same cleaner came to my door twice before 9 am. the first time (8.30; too early) i told her i would be there at least another few hours. tub was dirty and clogged

We couldn’t get the Wifi to work. We called front desk several times and nobody answered. I had to walk down to desk to get help. It kept asking for a login window and the wrong login kept coming up. The person at the front desk said that happens a lot. It seems like this should be fixed. Also it was not fun to be woken up by housekeeping at 8am. It was my own fault for not putting the do not disturb sign on but I didn’t think they would come that early. Otherwise it was a great hotel, clean, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast.

Without a doubt, this property is superb and in our top three hotels of all time. This was our second stay and have already booked a third. Service and comfort are outstanding, as is the very nice complimentary breakfast. The people here, especially Louise at the front desk, are some of the best anywhere. Fine dining at L'Albatros is just around the corner. The mansion is the place to stay if you're in the Cleveland area.
