We were mostly very pleased with our 7 night stay. From the moment we drove up we could tell this was a great properly. The gentlemen who helped us instilled the utmost confidence that our car would be taken care of property. Check-in went smoothly and baggage handling (by one of the men out front) also great. We had a lovely suite. We requested that the comforter be removed and replaced with blankets. The housekeeper came immediately and took care of this request. We were not pleased that robes and slippers were not provided and even more displeased that no turndown was available either. At $1,000 a night this should not happen. A bigger issue was the lack of proper housekeeping. I have never seen so much dust in a room. I put a pair of black slacks on the vanity stool and they were covered in thick dust. I then looked around and found almost every other surface was laden with dust as well. Although we had service every day, the drape was left hanging off the rod, shower and fixtures left uncleaned and drinking glasses were not replaced. A lamp that didn't work was ignored even though we put the plug up on the table to show them. The pillowcases were not tucked on the pillows correctly. With no pillow protectors you could see the not great looking pillows. Also, not happy with the large bottles of shampoo, body wash etc., they seem to have done away with the small bottles that are easier to use in the shower where there is limited space. Also, a card on the counter telling you these bottles are for use while you are at the hotel. I inquired at the front desk, they said they are $50.00 each if you remove them. They also said the small bottles are no longer available. After using them, I have to say they weren't that great. Additionally, a shaving shelf would be great in the shower for the ladies. At breakfast one morning I went to the front desk to tell them about the abundance of dust. A lovely manager, Michelle Thomas was very nice. She immediately comped one of our nights and said she would address this with housekeeping. This is a lovely hotel. Staff, valet, front desk, restaurant are very nice. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It's a shame to see it improperly cared for. I will review Turn restaurant separately. It was a highlight.

Poor value for money I spent 4 nights here in July 2022. It’s a pleasant hotel but there’s just no need to stay here. You’re better off staying on the outskirts of Cleveland for the following reasons: - parking here is $16 a day - breakfast is not included - there is no servicing of rooms unless you request it. There’s no discount in recognition of this reduction in service - there is little to nothing to do in downtown Cleveland. In short, underwhelmed

This is a peculiar hotel. I have experienced the most special one in the Hyatt Hotel. After arriving at night, I entered a shopping mall after closing the store, which is a bit dreamy. I am very impressed and the location is very good.

We stayed at the Westin in Cleveland downtown area, nice location with convenient adjacent parking garage. The most impressive is the newly opened in-house restaurant, Masa & Agave. We dined there for three meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. All fantastic. High quality ingredients paired with knowledgeable table service staff , like Nate, Sunny made the dining experience elevated to a new level. Oh, just mention their mole sauce, is indeed super! Comprise by 27 separate ingredients. Worthwhile to try.

This hotel is in need of an complete refurbishment, and is not up to Hilton Garden Inn standards. I’ve stayed at several HGI’s over the years, and have always expected very clean and comfortable rooms with no issues. I’ve stayed at this property back in 2014 when I visited Cleveland and it was very clean and well-maintained. It seems to have declined since then. First off, our room was not very clean. The tile floor was dirty; my socks turned black after walking on that floor. Also, the desk was greasy. In other words, it seemed Housekeeping only changed the bedding, cleaned the bathroom fixtures, and emptied the trash. Those were seemingly clean. The carpet also could use a shampooing as well. But, the biggest issue was the toilet didn’t have enough “swirly action.” We had to call for a plunger twice during our two night stay. There were some obnoxious drunks roaming the hallway at 3 AM banging on our door and other doors, and screaming. My mother was rather scared by this. The hotel is located in a fringe area on the edge of downtown, and there are some homeless people that hang around in the vicinity. It’s not an area I’d wander around at night—especially if there are no Guardians baseball games. The hotel is extremely convenient to Progressive Field, and is a great location for catching Guardians games. It is also close to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse—home to the Cavaliers. The Staff were friendly and helpful, so I don’t think it’s their fault. The hotel needs better management and a complete refurbishment. It is not a bad hotel, but if considering staying here please consider other options before choosing.

Hotel is well located - only a few minutes from the city centre and not far from Lake Erie. Not very friendly. Rooms size ok - not very attractively furnished. Rooms quite cold and very noisy (airport, Amtrak,..) There is a free shuttle service in the city centre. Self-parking is possible at charge.

The hotel is very unique and the staff members are super friendly. Especially the bartenders and James and John the shuttle drivers. The shuttle is so convenient and takes you in a 2 mile radius. The only negative was the elevators were not working properly so you had to wait for a staff member take you up or down. The friendly staff helped make up for the elevator inconvienence. And the food was delicious!

Outstanding
Our stay was exceptional in every aspect. The room was incredibly spacious and ideally located in the heart of downtown. The only minor inconvenience was the parking situation, but the exceptional service provided by Mackenzie more than made up for it. She not only printed the necessary QR code for garage entry but also personally escorted us to ensure we navigated the somewhat confusing process, which requires scanning the code twice. Without her guidance, we likely would have encountered difficulties. Her attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.
ZZHEThe hotel is small and exquisite, and you can see the oil paintings displayed by the boss. The surrounding environment is very good, close to the university and art museum, you can walk to the destination. Parking is in the backyard of the hotel, $10 a day, and you can stop even after checking out. There are also a lot of on-street parking spaces around.
GGuest UserI was in shock there was no coffee maker in the room. When I asked for a coffee in the evening they replied “you can buy coffee tomorrow at 7am” I’m so baffled as to why this Marriott location doesn’t offer in room coffee maker. We stay at multiple locations around the world and this is a first. Convenient location for a show Parking valet was easy if you eat at restaurant there they will validate but if your staying overnight dining on site doesn’t give you even a discount? The vault is lovely …great vibe and chill atmosphere Bartenders at ledger and vault were on point! Overall great stay
GGuest UserGreat & super clean king size room facing the Cathedral and ”❤” light City building. Awesome staff and General Manager Louis. Super helpful and professional. Good breakfast for on the go. Perfect walking 5- 15 minutes walking from the majority downtown attractions like East 4th Street for food & shopping, Rock & Roll Hall of fame, the waterfront, the freedom stamp. Quick taxi or longer walk to Football stadium, NASA science center, Civic center, Library, ******, and the Flats. Had a lovely time discovering downtown area of Cleveland good vibes from everyone!
GGuest UserOverall a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and wonderful and the shower was above expectation. The only negative of the stay was the check in process. I arrived about 45 minutes early and had called ahead about an early check in. I was told to go to the desk when I arrived and they would check to see if a room was available. The woman working check in was extremely rude not only to me but to others in line as well. She refused to see if rooms were ready for people arriving and just told them check in wasn’t until 4 and they had to come back. She told me I didn’t have a reservation and made me search frantically for my reservation which she did end up finding. She blatantly ignored peoples questions by just looking away and not answering them. As the first point of contact for guests this was a major negative. Other than her, everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and welcoming. My only recommendation would be to have breakfast available before 7am since many people have to leave early for appointments and therefore don’t get to eat.
HHONGJUNThe degree of hygiene needs to be improved, although the breakfast variety is not too much, it can fully meet the demand. Valet parking service is also ok, 19-knife one-day parking fee, tipping in the morning when picking up the car, it is quite convenient. The suite is large and the service response is slow. There is a fitness center and there is no swimming pool.
GGuest UserAll of the staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking very close. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Dining and entertainment right outside of the door. Great selection for breakfast. Checking in and out was very easy and fast. Thank you!
DDAPENGThe location is very good, there are places to eat around, there are also Italian supermarkets to buy things and eat more convenient, when I go to Cleveland, it snows, but the traffic is better, not congested.
GGuilfordThe bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Our room was quiet and very clean, but the best part of our stay was the delicious complementary breakfast. We travel a lot and we always dread the free breakfast. They're usually stale doughnuts and weak coffee. The Holiday Inn Express, downtown Cleveland has a wonderful free breakfast buffet. Sausage gravy and biscuits, French toast, pancakes, pork sausage links, turkey sausage patties, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, four kinds of juice, hot coffee, chocolate and white milk, toast, bagels, pastries and oatmeal. We will stay here whenever we're in Cleveland. We love this place!
AaimrMy child is studying at Case Western Reserve, so I booked this hotel. This hotel is in the city of Cleveland, about 5 kilometers away from Case. The hotel is also located in the school area, opposite the various buildings of Cleveland State University. The hotel has a large parking lot and multiple dining facilities nearby, which makes it convenient to eat. The hotel itself provides breakfast in the morning, which is simple and effective. The hotel itself is on Euclid Street, and Case Western Reserve is also on the same street, so it is convenient to drive all the way down. The accommodation experience is still good.
