I had booked a 6-sharing room with a 1000 registration fee, 3000 rent, and an additional 3000 as a security deposit. I stayed from August 6, 2023, and had paid on July 28, 2023. Unfortunately, I lost my job suddenly on August 24, 2023, and my salary was only for 18 days. I informed the owner immediately that I would vacate the room on September 3, 2023. The owner only returned 1336 out of the 3000 advance, citing various deductions, including 200 for electricity, 300 for maintenance, and 1200 for my late notice, which I believe is unreasonable and possibly illegal. Furthermore, the internet service is unreliable with frequent disconnections and slow speed. There are frequent power cuts, and there's no generator on the premises. The place has many unnecessary and inconvenient rules. In conclusion, I would advise against staying here unless it's absolutely necessary due to the risk of losing money and the poor amenities.
