St Nicholas Hotel Reviews

Been here before. We had such a great stay previously, so we thought we would stay here again! We had a different room, still had a great view and the room had lots of space!

The bed is comfort. Room temperature is ok. Fan is a/v. Room & bathroom are clean & tidy. Location is convenient. Wifi good. Some pubs outside but not that noisy.

There is no lobby on the ground floor of the hotel. You need to go to another hotel opposite to check in and get your room card first, which is a bit strange. If you stay on Friday or Saturday night, the hotel will be very noisy at night because it is close to the main street and bars. It will not be completely quiet until three in the morning. You need to pay attention to this trip.

The position and facilities are good, but the room is 1 floor and near the side street where is rather noisy with drinkers and talking people, besides there is a construction site start drilling and throwing stuffs in the morning that coz me sleep little....really bad experience even I had stay this hotel over 3 times and this is not my expectation

The place is so convenient as the location is in the centre of the town. Very clean and the room is big.

Joey at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Really appreciated the assistance. The heating was not working (was off), the night shift receptionist resolved it by asking one of the personal who was prompt in their work to switch it on.

Excellent service! They updated us to family room of St.George hotel which is high quality than our booking. The hotel is very gorgeous and tidy. Staff are nice and helpful.

The reception in the George Hotel was staffed by a friendly receptionist. Meals are taken in that hotel. The St Nicholas is just across the road and is clean and tidy. The room I was in had a nice terrace with a table and two chairs. The room was good with a lovely bed and a clean bathroom. One facility that is not often available in hotels was a room safe. Great if you are there for a longer period.

They take a £25 security deposit on your card when you check in and it takes ages to get back to your account. I'm still waiting for it after weeks.

Extremely good value! Room was big, had a lovely balcony, and everything you’d need for a comfortable stay! Nonetheless, amazing breakfast served at the hotel opposite the street. It had wide selection of cold food and generous portions of breakfast items. If ever visiting again, will definitely choose this hotel ❤️

Loved the stay over there. I would always book the same hotel again when I visit.
