Travelodge by Wyndham Walterboro

I broke down and couldn't make it, and they wouldn't give me a refund I'm so upset!

Location is great right off I-95. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and gas stations. Room is clean and freshly painted, Fresh paint, well stocked bathroom does have mini fridge, however it does not have a microwave in the room .. The front desk is friendly so check in was great and they do offer coffee around the clock ..

We lost our hotel room at another facility because of overbooking and chose to tough it out here for one night. This motel was in our price range, so we booked it sight unseen on *******. This was a mistake! Waited in the lobby for a receptionist to check in and that musty smell/odor was strong. Went to the room and found it was nothing like advertised. Our room decor was an aged navaho theme and nasty bathroom ceiling tiles covered in poisonous mildew from water leaks above. My family will not stay here again due to safety concerns (folks coming in and out all hours of the night yelling and slamming doors). I will be formally requesting a refund of $68.02 and consider it a lesson learned.

This place needs a remodel. I wouldn't recommend. The rooms were disgusting. There were dead roaches on the floor. The bed was all stained and the bathroom had ceiling tiles that had holes that were filled with plastic bags and the peep hole was filled with toilet paper

Sh*thole. They will only take cash deposit for damages. Rooms were moldy, big long black hair were found in the beds and towels. Towels looked like they were about 30 years old. The angry lady that talked through the window told me if I wanted nice and five star to go down the road.. I asked for a refund and she told me that they do not give refunds. Horrible horrible horrible.

I'm not a fussy person for an overnight stay. I just want internet, TV, clean shower and bed and zero bugs. I booked through a discount booking service and got an excellent rate. It was well worth what I paid. I found the lady at the desk very friendly and helpful. You do have a bit of a wait for someone to answer the bell. My room was clean and well appointed, parking right outside my window and I observed none of the negative issues other reviewers described. The cable TV service is a bit wonky and might require you to go ask for help, but otherwise I had zero issues. I re-booked for my return trip and got the same room so I can't speak for other rooms, but my booking was not expensive and a much better room than you can get for $30 to $60 more elsewhere.

The place was bare minimun for an overnight stay on a road trip. The towells were dirty!!! The pillows were extremely stuffed (and bad qualitly stuffing), so it was unconfortable for sleeping. Also, the room was burning hot, as the AC was off! It took forever to cool down (it was mid-july, you can imagine the weather).

s***hole don’t waste your money. people living in this place trash piled up outside rooms. floors wet. don’t do it!!!! Disgusting. stay in your car you’d be safer. So again don’t water your time and money on this dump.

I would not recommened this place. It was cheap but not worth it. The shower was stained/dirty. couldn't really tell. The bed skirts were dirty and the internet was terrible. There was a place to hang stuff, but no hangers. This place just looked run down and not kept up.
