We had a great experience staying here. The service and staff at Fairview is second to none! Special thanks to Siva who was always there to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was also to a really high standard, especially if you want authentic Sri Lankan food. We invited family to have lunch with us at the restaurant and they were also impressed with the quality. We will definitely be staying there again.

My short trip to Colombo is not compete without stopping by Fairview Hotel for their signature Nilaveli Lagoon Crab Curry + Roast Pan dish. The visit is as iconic as visiting a national monument 😂 Under the careful watch of Mr.Siva and his brilliant team, it was once again a memorable feasting experience as my last one in Feb 2020. Pls contact Mr. Siva for his service to ensure you are sourced the freshest crabs without freezer involvement and straight to your table in the quickest time possible in Colombo. Outdated ACs, stuffy rooms with no ventilation, mediocre breakfast spread, unwelcoming staff. I do not recommend this hotel. Colombo has far better options. We did not enjoy our stay at the Fairview hotel at all. We had to request a room change because all rooms were so stuffy with no open windows, old ACs with minimum cooling, and no views. The breakfast spread with minimum with a confusing menu. The receptionist barely smiles or stands up to greet. This was by far our worst hotel choice in our entire visit to Sri Lanka.

Very good hotel with good AC, good rooms, good TV, good wifi, we stayed on the eighth floor, so view was good, breakfast was quite good, location is very near to the sea side and also near to the city centre, overall a reasonably priced decent hotel for budget travelers

The bedrooms are comfortable, but the neighborhood noise was loud enough to keep us up at night. There are two music establishments nearby that made us get out the earplugs. The buffet dinner was cold for the 4 nights we were there, and one night the dessert was jello with a bit of fruit. There was little variety in the food, but it was fun to be in a roof top setting. On the positive side, the location is convenient and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Book without hesitation right now - Excellent property and service ! Rooms are well done, location is near the beach and central (quiet at night though). Nice bed and bathroom facility in the room. We did not try the food here.

Excellent hotel with excellent staffs . Service is very good . Closer to all amenities.. been in this hotel more than 15 times . Love it so much. Foods are excellent. Morning breakfast is very good .some rooms are ocean view . Roof top place is very good .

We checked in to this hotel for one day only after when we met the friendly staff had amazing food very clean rooms and they have perfect place to park you’re car. Security will help you to park you’re car anytime. So we extend our stay 2 more days.

A very spacious and amazing hotel. Enjoyed every day - the beds are very comfortable. I have recommended this hotel to many of my friends and relatives. A very convenient place. Only critism or advice I have is that the dinners were not the best especially the fried rice.
