Firstly I’m going to base my review on the cost of the holiday. I booked 1 week all inclusive with Tui flying from Cardiff on 3rd September and the price was £ 200 per person less than anything else Tui was offering on those dates and a lot cheaper than other holidays I’ve booked in the last few years so I really wasn’t expecting much. The hotel it self is of very good standard for the price, didn’t seem to dated and was very clean. Room was a 1 bedroom apartment which was of a very good size with balcony over looking the pool. Room was very clean and seemed to have had a fresh coat of paint recently as it really was spotless. Only negative was that there were a few loose floor tiles which will need to re grouting (room 477) the room was cleaned daily except for Sunday to a very high standard. Hotel had 2 large pools and plenty of sun beds some people would reserve beds at 7:30 but I never had a issue of getting 3 beds from 10am onwards as long as you are not bothered being right next to the pool. There was a pool bar which you did have to wait in a queue but the longest I waited was 10 minutes most times i was served within 5 minutes. There is also activities by the pool such as yoga or pool games etc music played in background but if you don’t want any noise then the other pool is quiet with no activities. There was evening entertainment and I must say was better than most entertainment I’ve had a 4* hotels so credit to the team. There is a snack bar by the main pool which opened around 11ish which served chips, bacon, hotdogs, burgers, and nachos and occasionally pizza along with cakes and ice cream. The area is very nice to be honest, to walk to the marina takes about 20 minutes and it’s about a 20 minute walk to la arena. Both of these areas have shops and restaurants although there are shops and restaurants around the hotel. There is a Lidl near the hotel to. There is a small beach playa de Santiago which is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel but better beaches at la arena and next to the marina. The area is hilly so please take note of this if you have mobility issues. There is also a natural swimming pool filled by the sea 5 minutes from the hotel, don’t use this if the sea is rough as people have been washed away here. Food wise there was plenty of options, the choice was very similar to other all inclusive hotels. Breakfast you had a choice of pastries, cereals plus a cooked breakfast which I found very nice. Main meals were a selection of meats, fish and chips or mash potatoes and the same goes for evening meals. for the week that I stayed there were different options every day, ranging from duck, chicken and even ribs. I’m a fussy eater so basically i had a meat or fish option with chips. I enjoyed the food. I note there have been comments regarding cold food but I myself didn’t find that from the food I eat however my wife had a plate of spaghetti bolognaise which she said was lukewarm. I did find on one occasion
