For us the location was great! The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service, for the most part, was very good, with the only exception being the gentleman who manned the front desk on arrival. Not friendly at all. It felt like we were an interruption. Breakfast was your standard fair. Scrambled, powdered eggs and sausage or bacon, and make your own waffles. Coffee, juice choices, bagels, and packaged sweets. It was good and it does make for a fast and convenient meal. The WIFI on our floor was horrible! In this day in age, this is unacceptable! I ended up using the computer by the breakfast area to set up our outgoing flight! The building is becoming dated but, there was construction going on so perhaps they are updating. The bathroom did not have a fan or any towel racks. Unfortunately, it appears that people have been using the shower curtain rod as it is tilted downward and you really need to make adjustments to avoid a wet floor. There are no handles for the physically impaired. Getting in and out of this slippery bathtub is difficult. Our toilet tank had a leak and frequently had to reload water. Finally, the HVAV is good and it is also loud. But if you have traveled a lot, this is fairly common. An extra note. We decided that we really didn't need a rental and would use Lyft/Uber. It worked well but there is rarely a car nearby. We made sure we allowed time to get picked. Because of its location and that it was typical of a hotel of this ranking, I would stay there again.

We stayed at the Home2 Suites in Glen Mills while visiting nearby Longwood Gardens from out of state. This is a fairly new hotel down Route 1 from Longwood. It is also near the restaurants of Chadds Ford and other local attractions. We've been debating between a 4 or 5 rating for this hotel, but have landed on a ”5” with an explanation. This is an excellent hotel, but not a luxury hotel. This hotel pretty much ticks all the boxes. It has convenient and free parking out front. The check-in was friendly and easy. The lobby has a fresh but also retro mid-century modern feel, which was a change of pace from some blander chains. Our room had a similar feel, but also lots of traveler-friendly features such as a kitchenette with dishes, lots of plugs and outlets, a couch where you could actually see the large flat panel tv, free wi-fi (which every hotel should have), a large bathroom, plentiful counter space, etc. Breakfast is included in the price. It isn't especially fancy, but included an egg dish, various breads, coffee, juices, cereal, some fruit, and basically everything we would have had at home. We would happily stay here again.

We just stayed one night after being at Longwood Gardens until closing. We were tired and slept very well. No noise; I only knew other guests were there because I saw them. The showers were hot, the room was cool, my daughters loved the two-room studio and it was a great way to end the holidays and a road trip. I am confident we will be back - it is only a two hour drive from home.
