A very cozy hotel, it seems to be a chain hotel in the Wales area. It has a white appearance and is clean and refreshing. When I arrived, one of the three free parking spaces across the road from the hotel happened to be vacant. Park and follow the hotel. Ask at the front desk - although it is not the time to check in at 3pm, you can park your car and use the toilet; it is very close to Conwy Castle and the city wall. I visited the castle first and then walked back to the hotel along the city wall to check in and check in. The front desk was white The young man enthusiastically helped us carry our two suitcases up the narrow wooden stairs covered with thick blankets; the curtains were made of Welsh pure wool plaid; the bathroom had white tiles, the toilet seat had wooden washers, and the bedding was made of pure cotton. There is a plaid, thick lip blanket, breakfast is served and you can order it by yourself; coffee is served from a pot on the table, and you can help yourself with juice. The next morning after dinner, we walked around the city wall and the center of the town.

We spent 1 night at The Erskine Arms / Y Capel and can't fault it! Friendly welcome on arrival, easy and helpful check in, spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, great pub with good food and a great breakfast. Yes - there was a clock chiming through the night but really not a problem. Perfect location in the centre of town. We stayed during a cycle tour through Wales but all said we'd happily return to stay again if revisiting the area. 10/10 and highly recommended.

This hotel is within sight and walking distance of the train station. It is also downtown Conwy. Yet we found it very quiet at night. Our Check in was very quick no extra paperwork just the key and preference for breakfast time. The hotel is an older building which has been entirely renovated without loosing its cachet. Our room located upstairs was quite large, comfortable bed with white duvet and locally made wool blanket. All amenities one would expect in terms of soap, tea, etc. This is a B & B like hotel so no gym, pool etc. How great Welch breakfast and service. The dining room is also recommended for supper.

Just read my previous Sunday lunch review 2 years ago and it was very favourable. However have returned today and had a very disappointing, over priced, average Sunday roast. Myself and 2 other family members found the meal did not appear freshly prepared, but of a stale previously frozen quality . The chicken was a small boned piece , no breast meat. The beef a cheaper cut of brisket. The pork belly was better meat. The table service was good, pleasant and swift.
