Trail City Bed & Breakfast is a gem! We attended the Amache Pilgrimage in Granada this year and this B&B was a few miles down the road. The bedroom was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the breakfasts were exceptional! Highly recommended--we know where we'll be staying if we're in the area again!

Lori was a wonderful host. We were the only guests that night but she made us feel special. We reserve a room upstairs in the main building but she gave us a free upgrade to one of the cabins. A very roomy cabin with all the amenities. The breakfast the next day was delicious! French toast, blueberry pancakes, parfait, bacon sausage and eggs. She told us about the history of the town and her family. She’s the mayor! She even gave us a tour of the opera house she is renovating and a tour of the local antique store “Cousin Eddie’s”. Would stay here again if we’re ever in the area again.

We stayed in one of the Trail City Bed and Breakfast cabins and paid an additional fee for breakfast. The one room log cabin was adorable. It had a rustic wood interior, but included ALL the modern conveniences like tv, air conditioning, full size refrigerator, stove, Keurig coffee maker, wi-fi, etc. Our host also included some complementary coffee pods, drinks and snacks. In the shower was a full size bar of soap and bottles of nice shampoo and conditioner. The bed was super comfy and lended itself to a great night sleep. Breakfast the next morning was superb with the most delicious and unique french toast we’d ever had! We enjoyed it so much we booked an additional night for our trip back home. We’ll definitely stay there again on our next trip through Kansas.

This was an awesome stop on our extended motor trip! We could have stayed! Charming, comforting and unique. Antiques combined with the best creature comforts! Best homemade breakfast! Family owned and we were treated like family!

You couldn't fault this wonderful place. We stayed in a log cabin. Comfortable bed, lovely airy space, and lots of attention to detail with extras in the fridge , lovely toiletries, and great homely touches. The breakfast was superb. So nice to meet Lori and earn about the local area and her family history. I would thoroughly recommend staying here

We had found great reviews for Trail City. I tried to book the 1890s saloon which is made into several hotel rooms, but that was booked. Instead, we stayed in one of the two log cabins, and enjoyed it greatly. The cabin was huge with a king size bed downstairs and a loft with a queen bed. There was a full kitchen, table, and a living room/TV area. Laura Lennon, the owner of Trail City, was responsive to our questions, knowledgeable about the area as only a family who has long been in this area can be. The next morning, Laura brought breakfast to our room----juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, parfaits, and French toast. All was delicious. By the way, the cabins are wonderfully clean and accessed by a code. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great stay on our way to Colorado at a great price! Loved the information on the history of the area. My husband was a Kansas history teacher and even he learned something. :) I would fully recommend one of the cabins to anyone wanting or needing to stay in the area.
