This hotel is cheap for a reason. Not bad for how much you pay but not great. Rooms sometimes aren’t clean and their short staffed. You get what you pay for but the staff are usually nice.

Bestes Hotel in Papenburg. Ruhige, zentrale Lage am Kanal, große gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Hervorragendes Frühstück auch für Vegetarier. Bar/Restaurant tipptopp.

I stayed at the hotel for a hockey festival cause it was all I could afford. It’s really not THAT bad. My room seemed clean, maybe not in the best shape but clean sheets and stuff as far as I could tell. I didn’t feel unsafe, which these reviews had me worried about. It’s just a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for.
