Cheapest option for a couple of nights, (shared bathrooms and dorms aside) I read a couple of grim reviews on TripAdvisor so was a little concerned but my experience was good , the only thing I would say that was marginally substandard was the mattress lacked sufficient padding, not terrible but would have benefited from a mattress topper.. But I would use it again, no question.

Over zealous negative reviews. I’ve stayed in shacks, 4 and 5 star hotels. This place. Is lovely. Yea tired in places but overall wonderful. Staff great, pool area lovely. We are here right now, in a one bed apartment with a sea view looking at Lobos and Lanzarote. Ten min from the centre, just stroll along the promenade. Onsite reasonably priced supermarket. If you want five star, it clearly and honestly states this isn’t that. But with all honesty, we’ve stayed in those places and some have not been as accommodating as the staff here. It depends what you want. Our apartment is clean, spacious and lovely.

Firstly, this review is based on our overall holiday. I like to be fair and I will be completely honest about our experience. We arrived late at night to find out that we had been allocated the infamous room 101, which I had read about on previous reviews. In a nutshell, the room was ok but the location and terrace was not! It was located in an alleyway. There was rubbish outside and a view of a wall and rubbish bins. We immediately complained and were met with a hostile response from the Receptionist, who informed us that there were no other rooms available but to come back tomorrow. The following morning, we asked to be moved. The male Receptionist was friendly and told us that there was not an equivalent room available (which I don't believe) but if we returned at 3.30pm, he would show us an upgraded room, at an upgrade cost of 130 Euros. To cut a long story short, we paid and accepted room 159, which had an astroturf garden with loungers and a king sized bed. Direct veiws of the sea and Lanzarote. Pool area- lovely Pool bar - friendly, good choice and reasonable Sunbed situation- not too bad Cleanliness - mediocre Location - 20 min walk along front via harbour to town. 10 min work via back streets. Taxis - relatively cheap Correlejo- Amazing. Lots of bars and eating places. Beautiful beaches. Reasonable prices. Entertainment - low key entertainment at night - singer or karaoke. No kids entertainment. Nice kids pool. No daytime entertainment. Facilities- onsite supermarket- slightly over priced but good choice, shower room - which needs to be pre booked for last day. Taxis - reasonable Overall - amazing holiday, amazing weather. Adequate room and facilities. Decent location. Would we return- yes if the price was right and we could chose a room.
