Barceló Corralejo Sands

What a brilliant stay at Corralejo Sands. The hotel is perfectly placed just off the Main Street and only 10 minute walk to the sea front, and yet it felt like it was in its own little tranquil world. The staff were really friends and helpful and yet not in your face making it a really relaxing stay. Our room was immaculate and cleaned to a high standard every day. We loved the variety of food in the restaurant and in particular the different themes each evening. We both celebrated our 40th birthdays whilst there and were delighted to discover sparkling wine and a gorgeous dessert in our room for each birthday. We would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing break in the sun, thank you Corralejo sands!

This was our 2nd visit in 2 months and we needn’t have been concerned about it living up to our previous experience is it did and arguably surpassed it.Previously we stayed for 7 nights in a Deluxe room with Whirlpool but on this occasion it was for 5 nights in a Double room.Our room (#1110) was excellently positioned with a fantastic pool view which would be hard to better if a pool view was your preference.The complex was as clean & spotless as could you wish for and if anything the grounds were even more manicured than our previous visit.The buffet style breakfast & dinner was very good offering plenty of choice at a good temperature & themed nights.The staff throughout could literally not do enough for you.Cleaning staff worked very hard with high standards, the reception team were all friendly & helpful and the restaurant/bar staff were attentive, pleasant & polite.In particular Michael & Carlos in the pool bar were very friendly and even endulged my pathetic attempts at speaking a bit of Spanish.Ruben & Viktor in the restaurant were also particularly friendly always acknowledging us.The evening entertainment comprised of a pre-show quiz with the animation ladies which was always good fun & light hearted then followed by an act of varying types but mainly singing.Some acts were maybe not quite as good as others but others were excellent.The animation team of Giorgia, Carla & Adriana were lovely encouraging participation without going too far acknowledging that being on holiday some people’s preference is to just chill.These ladies made our excellent time even better.Giorgia’s imminent role change will be animation’s loss but certainly reception’s gain.The fact that unbelievably we are already considering returning in March for a 3rd visit in 6 months tells it’s own story either that or we’ve lost the holiday plot.

Great food, friendly colleagues, good location for the north of the islands attractions, evening entertainment could be better

The hotel is in a fantastic location, staff all around couldn't do enough for you Lunchtimes everything is cooked fresh and even at the busiest of times the staff worked so hard. The pools was abit cold but didn't stop the kids enjoying all the inflatable days. The hotel would be a definitive return Thank you to everyone We was a family of 11 & everyone was happy!

This is a fantastic hotel and located right in the centre close to everything. So clean and well maintained. Great selection of food and drink
