Absolutely wonderful hotel to stay in, we stayed from 19th Sept leaving on Sunday morning 29th Sept under All Inclusive board. From start to finish the experience was fabulous. My review below is as an AI guest, therefore, half board etc may be slightly different. For anyone thinking of choosing this hotel we'd say book it immediately, you won't regret it. Here's a few tips & reviews to help your stay go flawlessly. Book a whirlpool suite if you can, they are at the top end of hotel site, a little away from the pool/pool bar area and the other rooms giving a touch of added privacy. They are all ground floor rooms due to the hot tub/whirlpool and come with a deck & 2 sun loungers at the rear of the suite. Breakfast is in the basement floor area off reception, it's a self service buffet affair with every possible breakfast food you can imagine to choose from. You don't have to wait to be seated, just find a table and crack on. Staff are wonderful, clearing tables quickly and keeping the various food areas topped up. Lunch is served in the pool bar with an indoor and outdoor seating area, while we were there Michael was on duty most days. He is an absolute star and a legend, tall fella with swept back hair and ponytail. We can't say enough about Michael & the team working with him, they are the best people, happy, friendly, helpful, really top class. They have a food menu and a drinks menu which as AI you can pick and choose from each day, there are surcharges on some items like their Angus burger, but other options are inc like Sands burger or steak, plus Club, BLT, etc sandwiches. If you get the Barcelo app you can see what's on offer. The drinks are on the same basis with most being AI but some have a surcharge on them. We were nicely surprised to see most drinks are made using named brand spirits rather than local spirts. Tip for lager/cider drinkers here...They inc bottles of Heineken at 5% and bottles of Strongbow cider with all inclusive, so you don't have to stick to the self service lager which can get a bit samey after awhile. Evening meal is taken in the basement level area where breakfast is served, for this you wait at the desk near the foot of the stairs and are seated by the staff. They change the main offering each night but there is always something to choose from. As an AI guest you can drink white, red or rose wine by the glass or bottle, or choose self serve lager or bottles as mentioned above. There's no shortage of food choices in our opinion. We've read grumblings about 4* self serve buffet food being low on choice in Corralejo. Well if you want 5* food options, pay 5* money...simples. Those who moan probably eat egg and chips at home and think it's wonderful. The pool and activities, there's always spare beds around the pool so no need to do the silly towel dash of a morning. Obviously it's first come first served so if you want a certain area it's worth getting there early. The pool is unheated sea water so a bit
