One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at
I'm seriously impressed by how beautiful this hotel was. Rustic, beautiful tiles and floors, doors, gorgeous gardens and pool, all built into the side of a mountain with a stream running by as a view for breakfast.
The room was also spacious and clean. The bathtub also apparently doubled as a jacuzzi though I didn't partake. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was good.
Air on included.
Parking included.
Rooms were quiet despite property being near a road.

La locanda sorge sulle “rovine” di un vecchio mulino, da qui il nome. Situata una decina di km dal centro di Cortona è il luogo ideale per staccare dalla routine. Nelle camere è forte la presenza di legno (sia pavimenti che soffitti) con arredi funzionali ma antichi che ben si adattano con il contesto. Spazi ampi, molto pulita e tanta pace. Noi abbiamo optato per il servizio di mezza pensione e devo dire che la cucina è fantastica. Abbondante, varia e gustosissima. Ottimi i vini Grande cordialità e disponibilità del proprietario e di tutto il personale. Ci siamo trovati benissimo

Ambiente datato in struttura in pietra con arredi anni 70. Cortesi alla reception che ci ha ospitato senza prenotazione. Antipasto della locanda con formaggi vari e miele, affettati (un po’ limitata la portata) e crostini tipici con diversi condimenti vegetali. I primi : pici all’aglione con pomodorini verdi e tagliolini rosa al tartufo Molto buone ma misera la porzione. Cantucci e vinsanto. Acqua non gassata, niente vino. In generale una ottima cena ma limitata nella quantità. Il servizio è cortese e meritano un plauso. Il prezzo non è molto economico: 60 euro.
