I enjoyed a lovely stay at Chatterley House - A stunning space to relax and reset along my journey. Jackie was a fabulous host, very friendly and accommodating. My room was exceptionally comfortable, cosy, and met all of my expectations and more. I can highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a homey place to check in to along their travels. B&b was excellent room was compact
It has everything, nice and clean,comfy bed .
As soon as you enter the property there is a gym not only that table tennis.
The grounds kept lovely,play area for children at rear and tables & chairs outside.
Free continental breakfast provided just help yourself which was more than adequate.
I really enjoyed my stay thank you

Help yourself breakfast was very good.
Plenty of hot water for a shower.
Deluxe room is very small.
Bed is very firm and would benefit from a topper. Pillows are lumpy.

This was our second time staying and unfortunately our last. As past reviews have mentioned, the place is in a slow decline. Dirty bathroom and room, breakfast is just the bare basics. but frustratingly - which summed up our overall stay - did not get a pleasant experience from the staff - the “manager” clearly did not value customers staying, and lacked customer skills needed. Such a shame as it had potential. Would avoid and recommend paying a small premium to stay at the Doubletree Hilton nearby instead.
