Sol Sun Beach

Well, I don’t know where to start..our room was ground floor and it was very dated the breakfast was vile the sausages was still pink in the middle and everything else just looked like it was thrown together there was nothing tasty about the food at all pleased we didn’t go all inclusive as I would have been very disappointed. The cleaners if that’s what they call themselves the floor in our bedroom hadn’t been cleaned the hole time we was there the amount of dust that came off the bottom of my suitcase at the end of the stay you wouldn’t believe, small maggot's in the swimming pool. Cockroaches in our bedroom that had been killed and pushed into the corner, everything just didn’t seem right for a 4 star hotel. Definitely wouldn’t be recommended this to anyone, work men was in the hotel doing work the last couple days of our holiday and all you could hear from 8am was banging and drilling! Location was very ideal close to everything but not something I would pick again.

Where do I start! Food in this place disgusting! Sausages tasteless bacon like card board, cheap beans. Snotty eggs. Luke warm. many other people staying agree!! Not even fresh juice squash. Our friends said stale rolls. Even doughnuts and pastries not fresh. Think they put out same ones day after day. Porridge like water!! Evening meal the same! Really bad. Paella had no meat or prawns in it! Just 5 muscles. Deserts not good either! False flavour! Everything done on the cheap should not be 3 star only 1. Room inadequate! Pool dead no atmosphere, no music. Pool bar, bland food!! Cockcroches in room. Had to hire towels, pay for sunbeds on terrace. previous reviews don't believe them it was terrible! £3200 this cost us, waste of money! Also even the fruit at breakfast was dry they just bring it out everyday! The 1st night for dinner yuk the head waiter in the restaurant said was it good we said horrible he just started laughing!!!

Just back from a 10 day holiday to sun Sol beach, my husband, 19 year old daughter and myself all had a fantastic time!!! Our 1 bed room apartment had a huge terrace directly overlooking the pool and had 3 sun loungers, a table and chairs and received the sun all day , with a welcome addition of sun canopy to provide some shade.!! The apartment itself was spotless, and well equipped with excellent air conditioning. The pool area was lovely, a huge pool with lovely garden area, and very well maintained. The hotel itself was really nice and served a fantastic breakfast with something to suit everyone. Every member of staff from reception, to dining room and maids were extremely friendly and very helpful!! We will definitely go back!!!

Excellent room over looking pool. Perfect for our requirements. Good choice of breakfast options.pool area clean and well looked after. Ideal position for bars and restaurants would recommend this property highly

We have just returned from a two week holiday . We had a great time . We were in a two bed apartment Room D on ground level with pool view . Apartment was massive with two bathrooms does need updating but think they are in the process of doing all rooms . Did have email of Jet 2 before we went about noise from work being carried out but can honestly say we never heard none . only let down was balcony was small plus the air con unit was on it by the patio doors making it extremely hot so couldn’t sit out on it of an evening let alone during the day .We didn’t let that spoil our holiday . We did have cockroaches in room . The pool doesn’t have much going on around it during the day only a singer for an hour on a Wednesday afternoon . Nothing at night but there are lots of places to go around outside . We had breakfast included which was lovely but they need to cook the sausages more as they looked cooked but were pink inside. All the staff were friendly and helpful . The pool bar is also great for drinks and snacks . There was no rush for sunbeds in morning which was great you could go down anytime of day and get one . Overall we had a great time.

We have just returned as a group of 11 from the Sol sun apartment. From start to finish we had an unbelievable time. We arrived very late to the holiday about 3.30am due to our flight been changed,but that didn't matter as Seb was on reception waiting for us with a very warm welcome. Locations is absolutely unreal here it's in prime location and within walking distance to everything you need and the gorgeous beach is only a 5 mins stroll. Breakfast was amazing too, it had everything and we never left hungry. Staff are extremely friendly also and always on hand to help out. Apartments are prefect and have absolutely everything you need it them. We are already looking in to re booking again for next year. Pool area very relaxing and never any issue with getting sun loungers even with a big group like us. It was the most relaxing and most pleasant holiday we have had in a long time. Had a great time at the Sol Sun Beach in Tenerife, the drop off was a bit confusing as the bus couldn’t get near hotel and the bus driver just dropped us off waved a hand to the right and then left us, it was late at night so we couldn’t see the signage so that could have been better especially when you have children with you. on finding the hotel it was very clean and modern and reception was friendly, we stayed in a two bedroom family room which was huge with a massive wrap around terrace with sun beds and table and chairs, the room was dated but included everything you would need, the bathroom was modern and well equipped one of the best we have had as we usually go the Greece, the beds were very comfortable and we had a sea view from our bedroom, the terrace had a sea view also and a view of the restaurants, there was a great sports bar under the hotel which had the cheapest beer, cocktails and smoothies we found €1.50 for a pint cocktails €5 and smoothies €4.50 had a great atmosphere with pool tables, and gaming tables and arcade games do great for kids and adults, the breakfast was really nice everything you could want all self service great time to go was between 8.30 to 9 as otherwise it got busy if you were a family, only a few seats outside so get there early if you want those, the pool was great a lovely size and there was always plenty of sun beds around the hotel so no need to rush out to put your towels down early. There was work going on around the hotel and sometimes I was quiet noisy around the pool area, we had the room next to us under renovation but luckily they were at the finishing stage would not have wanted it to be at the knocking off tiles stage or digging up floors as this was causing problems for a few guests that had to change rooms because of the noise, the internet was very slow and patchy around the hotel, the pool bar only accepted cards no cash so we didn’t use it as we tend to boycott no cash places, overall would definitely recommend staying here we had a great time and would definitely return.
