Everything was perfect. The hotel is really nice from inside and out. food aswell - lots to choose from, but some day there was the same food (which is understandable and i didnt mind it). Also the drink were really good quality, with quality alkohol, tasted amazing. Beach is beautiful and clean, 3 minute walk from hotel. Animation guy was really great, his activities were so fun to do. I recomend this hotel 110%! I will come back as soon as i can. (Sorry for my english, im not native)

This was our second time to Fuerteventura, but our first time ever staying at an H10 hotel anywhere in the world. We chose this hotel after the nearby Melia closed for renovations and we were forced to find other accommodations. As the only Americans here, the hotel is obviously catered to Europeans (especially Germans), but we knew that in advance. We opted for the Privilege option and were happy with the spacious and modern room. The private balcony was huge. Although the air conditioner was on, it was not cooling the room adequately and we were told that the temperature on the thermostat wasn’t working properly and is actually government controlled. The hotel provided us with a fan, and we made due. The housekeeping staff came twice a day and were very polite. There was a wide selection of food to choose from at each meal. The desserts were especially delicious and fresh. We made reservations to dine at the privilege restaurant, but left disappointed and never returned for breakfast or dinner. We did prefer Stromboli and had a much better experience. The Jandia restaurant buffet staff were fantastic and very hard working. The grounds are very well cared for immaculately clean. The pool area is stunning, but the water was so cold, there was hardly anyone ever in it, even though all pool chairs were taken and in use. If we had to offer any constructive room for improvement, we would suggest heating the pool and adding authentic “Spanish” entertainment such as flamenco, rather than locals singing typical American songs that we can hear at home. We feel tennis and mini golf should be included in with Privilege, as it’s currently extra and nobody ever played. We would also recommend anyone staying here to get out and explore the other beaches on the peninsula. Sotavento and Cofete are a must! We were happy with our stay overall and would consider returning again in the future. A special thanks to the front desk staff who were exceptionally helpful and very friendly in answering any questions we had in English and/or Spanish.

Well where do i start... we arrived at 10.30pm and checked in. We were told there was food waiting for us in the cafeteria. We were met with sweaty cling filmed plates of prawns, fruit and yogurt. We then had the fun of finding our room in the dark, alone with 3 large suitcases and a very unhelpful map! There is no porter service at night only 1 security guard and 1 receptionist which is ridiculous for a hotel especially if guests have a problem as no one is available to help. When we evetually found our room (2hours later) the ac didnt work so the hotel had to split us up into different rooms for the night. In the morning we were given another room! 4 rooms in the first day with a lovely collection of key cards!! We eneded up with 9 room cards at 1 point!!We arrived at 10.30pm and after the food and room fiasco got to bed for 3.30am!! We went privilage, the rooms are ok...but no iron, ironing board and no kettle are visable the room!!! Room service come twice a day. There were 3 of us on this holiday, my daughter had to sleep on a camp bed with a very springy and uncomfortable mattress. The hair dryer in the bathroom fell apart in my hands and the attatchment that fits on the end is melted so it doesnt fit on. The privilage restuarants have the same menu every day of the week so it does get really very boring on the food front very quickly. We ended up eating in the buffet in the end as more variety of food to choose from. The hairdryer in the room fell apart in my hands and the fridge door doesnt close properly. In the end you just give up reporting things to reception.. after all you are supposed to be on holiday!!! All drinks are premium branded which is probably the only plus side and the cocktails are really nice. The waiters and waitresses work tirelessly at the hotel and they are all so friendly. Sun beds are not in plentyiful supply and if you dont get to a sunbed before 8.30am you wont have one for the day. The pools are fresh water and very cold so too are the indoor pool and jacuzzi. All the toilet doors around the resort open inwards so you are literally stuck between the toilet and toiiet roll holder every time you enter one. And the glass shower screen is up against the sink unit so you have great difficulty accessing the taps. Evening entertainment is extremely poor, usually a singer in the Blue Bar from 9pm to 10.30pm and outside at the snack bar from 10pm to around 11.30pm. This hotel needs more staff and a different menu in your PriviIage restuarants!!! On a night spent in the Blue Bar having drinks with my husband and daughter, we had an evening of entertainment. It was a lovely evening until 12am when the staff had cleaned the bar and left as a group and the 1 receptionist (male and very rude) and 1 security turned the main lights off on everyone still drinking, leaving only the 1 light on at the reception desk. After speaking to the director she said that is what happens...basically thats when people go to bed!!! Al

Such a lovely experience at this Hotel. All of the staff were simply lovely. We stayed with here for ten days, along with our sister and brother in law. The service was exceptional. Extra shout out to Wajd our entertainer. He literally made everyone at the hotel feel valued. Also big thanks to Alba, a lovely ray of sunshine that looked after us so well. Home tomorrow but, would happily return

My friend and I have throughly enjoyed our stay at H10 Playa Esmeralda. The adult only hotel is peaceful and quiet. Its facilities offer something for everyone. It’s perfectly situated a few hundred meters from a beautiful sandy beach. The hotel rooms are lovely and all the staff extremely friendly and attentive. We loved the energy and fun that Wajdi the entertainer brought to the pool and the activities he ran! Thanks for an amazing stay!

After visiting Fuerteventura numerous times at various hotels, I can say with complete honesty this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Brilliant views, clean rooms, excellent food and drink options but above all the staff stand out by far. The staff are kind and cannot do enough for you. Wadji was beyond exceptional, not only at his job as part of the animation team, definitely one of the highlights of our trip. At the end of our trip we asked Wadji if we can participate in one of our favourite games and he was more than willing to adapt the schedule so that we could do it one last time before we leave, very accommodating and entertaining excellent interpersonal skills! Many of the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I don’t have any complaints that are worth mentioning and can’t wait to return in November!

Fantastic hotel - very comfortable and great staff. We upgraded our room to a Privilege room so we could have twin beds balcony and sea view. What we didn’t realise was that also entitled us to access to the Privilege lounge with free drinks and snacks, and use of the a la carte restaurant and the Italian restaurant . The a la carte restaurant was amazing - delicious food at breakfast and dinner and brilliant staff. The hotel was about 20 mins walk into Costa Calma - there didn’t seem much there apart from a few shops and bars. From the hotel it was 5 mins walk to the beach and a few minutes further on a fantastic snack bar called Snack Bar Palmita - great food and perfect location

We had a fabulous holiday. The team at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel suite, restaurants, and communal areas were all very clean. There are a few dated areas of decoration but it in no way affected our stay. We had a small problem in our room which was efficiently fixed immediately. We needed to seek medical advice and there is a doctor on site who was very helpful. Added bonus of the very close proximity to a small beach area with a great cafe and only a 20 minute walk to a supermarket and restaurant. 30 mins to pharmacy and other shops. We played mini golf and boules on site. There was reasonable entertainment each night, low key in the main bar and a little more lively in the pool bar if you like to have a boogie. There were no English channels on the room Tv, so if that is important to you perhaps download plenty of Netflix to watch on another device. We booked the Privilege package and was glad of that as gave far more food variety. The food in the main buffet was lovely but repetitive, it was good to have the choice of two other restaurants plus table service breakfast in the privilege restaurant. The lunchtime pool bar snack menu was varied and always good and made a change from the buffet. The coffee shop was a nice addition and there are two small shops on site selling clothing, snacks, drinks and toiletries. We were very happy with the overall package and will definitely return.

There are not many hotels that I would rate a 5 star but this is one of them. I can hands down say this is the best hotel I have ever visited. From the moment we arrived we were treated with the upmost respect and care. The check in staff were amazing and even offered us arrival drinks. We booked a double room with sea view and the view really was amazing. We got a pool and sea view. Please see pictures attached. The man who does the daytime entertainment really is a credit to this hotel. Constantly providing fun activities for everyone to join in. My dad and partner loved the water polo. Big shoutout to the lady who works in the buffet and was also on the lobby bar today, name badge started with “Yol” and the rest was rubbed off but she is also a massive credit to this hotel and was absolutely lovely. The food was plentiful and constantly refreshed and with someone who has allergies there were loads of options. The pool area is very big and there is a large choice of sunbeds. I have never been let down by a H10 hotel however this one takes top spot for me and I will make sure to recommend this hotel to all my customers. We are already planning on returning next year. Thank you for the amazing service and a holiday we will remember for life.

It was the other positive reviews that made me choose this place. Only went for a short relaxing break. Was not disappointed. I chose their Privilege package which gave free access to the 2 other restaurants, Italian and ala-carte, however I have to say I found the Buffet excellent, especially dealing with so many guests at one time. There is 'show' cooking for some item's and the choice changed each day so there was always something different to choose from. The Ala-carte restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal was lacking in choice (For me anyway) so only chode to eat there once for each occasion (Breakfast and Dinner)..never tried 'Stromboli's' pizza restaurant...can get good pizza's at home and not my favourite for an evening meal anyway. The Pool front Snack bar was excellent, great choice of food for lunch, pleasant atmosphere and spacious. I had a room overlooking the sea right down the front and possibly as far away from the main hotel as was possible, so if you have walking difficulties be aware of this as the hotel is on about 7 levels in all (I think judging by the lift numbers) Plenty of lifts on-route, but did find the layout a bit confusing on arrival and the map was not exactly clear. (Anyway, once established it was fine). The room was reasonably spacious, clean and well appointed, Well stocked (free) fridge with drinks, and a coffee machine. Personally, I prefer a separate shower rather than one over the bath, but this was adequate, with towelling robes and beach towels made available. Nice comfortable bed and balcony with seating overlooking the beach. Just a warning, though, I had noisy neighbours on my last night who sat out on the balcony late at night talking rather loud so had to shut the door.....the air-conditioning then took over, The bars, both pool front and in main hotel are excellent and there is a great view of the sea sitting outside on the decking, with both comfortable arm chairs and tables. Now the staff...excellent, friendly, helpful and professional. Its a nice touch to get a glass of sparkling wine on arrival whilst waiting to check in too. Be aware that the hotel is quite a walk from the centre of Costa Calma, and there is not a great deal to do there. It was first vit to Fuertevetura and my opinion of that part of the island is that it is a bit desolate, so maybe a car would be a choice if you are there for a while to see the island.

We returned from our fifth visit to the Esmeralda in two years a few days ago and yet again it did not disappoint. Hotel was as lovely as ever and all the staff were as friendly and hardworking as previous visits. It was great to see everyone again and also meet some new members of the team. All the staff are a credit to the hotel. We cannot fault this hotel and it suits us perfectly for our needs. We always stay in Privilege and look forward to sampling the new dinner menu which launched a few days after we left. The new Stromboli Italian restaurant is a nice addition to the hotel and well worth trying. Costa Calma is a low key resort not for party animals. Looking forward to returning late October.

Just back from a fantastic week at H10 Playa Esmeralda. Having emailed to ask for a walk in shower room they were able to accommodate this - thank you. The Hotel is spotless cleaning is taking place all day. We had a lovely room and this was cleaned to a high standard and the mini bar refreshed daily and towels changed when necessary. All the staff were helpful and understanding the reception staff (Desi) were amazing. All the restaurants had a high standard of cuisine and a good variety of different dishes. We had most of our meals in the Privilege a la carte and the food was of a high standard and cooked to perfection, we also had pizza in Stromboli, just one small observation was waiting times could have been minimised by extra service staff. Would like to praise Yelena for her lovely disposition and excellent service in the a la carte breakfast service. Yes the outdoor pool is cold but very refreshing we also went in the indoor pool this was much warmer. Overall we had a fantastic time and looking forward to coming back next year.

We (myself and sister) always take mum away for a week and invariably choose a H10 hotel as we like the brand. This H10 did not disappoint. Whilst we were travelling as a part of a package I contacted the hotel in advance to ask for two rooms fairly close to each other as mum walks with a stick and we wanted to be close by for assistance when needed. Mum's room was nice and close to the lifts and ours a short walk along the same corridor. We had a great week, but as others have said the hotel needs to provide more sunbeds as there is a bit of a 'scrum' in the morning to reserve them, that said we got the hang of things and didn't struggle to find three together. The drinks are premium brands which is good to see on an an all inclusive as that is not always the case. The food was good too, with plenty of choice. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and keen to assist mum as much as they could. The entertainment was good, if a little cheesy, but we enjoyed it all. The only real disappointment was that Costa Calma itself is not a very big, and mum does like to do a bit of shopping, and there weren't many opportunities for that. I think if we return we would opt for one of the H10 adult only hotels in Corralejo, but that is our personal preference.

We’ve already stayed two times at this hotel. The beach is beautiful, location is great. Staff is very efficient and friendly, especially Miguel, the lifeguard. The food is very good in my opinion, we have chosen half board. We would highly recommend this hotel.
