Costa Mesa Hotels with Gym

This was booked as part of our California road trip. We were able to book in early, which was a real plus, however we found the room to be very dark and it smelt damp. It was a good size and had a full size fridge. The carpets however were filthy!! We all had showers and within minutes of walking around barefoot our feet were black!! Our kids used the pool, which was fenced off in the middle of the car park. It had ample seating around it, but it certainly wasn’t the cleanest. The hot tub was green in colour. We had an issue with our sink, which made it unusable. It took 2 phone calls to reception to get this sorted. The hotel was well positioned for Newport and Huntington. It’s on a busy road, but there are good restaurants and shops around. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Its dated and needs a good clean.

The hotel offers an airport pick-up service, but it is recommended to call the front desk. Because the airport is small, the hotel shuttle does not always run between the airport and the hotel. The service is good, the room space is relatively large, but it seems that there is no bottled water in the room.

We stayed a night for president’s day weekend. We checked in around 8 PM and were greeted by excellent service from their front desk specialist, Alexander. Alexander was quick to get us checked in and truly helped us feel welcome. I can say it was one of the best check in experiences I have had. He was able to provide all pertinent info we needed and promptly direct us to our room. We found our room very clean and ready for a relaxing evening after a day on our feet. The hotel is old, the room is still relatively large, the hotel parking is free, better than the hotel I stayed in Irwan before, the hotel lobby also provides free coffee; this hotel also sends 2 bottles of mineral water and snacks for free (see photo); Breakfast is really simple, the meat patties are limited, and the breakfast ends earlier. The reception staff at the hotel reception is quite polite.

The location is convenient, shopping and eating are very close, the room is clean and tidy, and the service staff are warm and thoughtful. I will choose this hotel again next time. It was a very good experience

The hotel staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and not luxurious, but it was basically good. The hotel is a 25-minute drive from Disney and about an hour from Universal Studios. The airport also takes an hour and a half. It is close to Irvine. You can go there for Chinese food, you can eat Haidilao, and beef is a must. There are also net red hi multi-party ramen, just to line up. In short this hotel is recommended, there is a laundry room, and the underground parking lot can also reach the elevator, which is great
