Newer hotel, great breakfast, excellent service.

We like that the hotel is right off the highway. Satff were inviting. There a pool and breaky in the morning. Our room was comfortable, good heat&cool system. Pillows and beds were perfect. Bathroom was clean. Microwave and mini fridge were handy. Also variety of shops and store close by

The hotel seems very new and clean from pictures....... I needed a hotel close to the airport for a morning flight out. Upon entrance into the room you can tell its not the best cleaning being done. (Everywhere lack staff these days, it is what it is, so im sure they are always training new people and things happen) The handles to the cupboards were smudged (as if someone just put hand lotion on and open the door right away) There was a sock on the floor from previous occupants of the room hiding under the bed but still visible because I saw it as soon as I walked in as i looked around the base of the bed. The breakfast was... OK/not great..... We were out early to the airport so we were hoping to be getting breakfast at 6am when it started. Sadly the breakfast didn't officially get all the hot stuff out till around 6:30am. One gentleman decided to cook a waffle and the waffle stuck to the plates. The lady working the breakfast didn't seem very happy that morning (maybe someone didn't show up for shift or something.... things happen) but then she had to clean the plate of the waffle maker. But then the other side also started sticking.... Maybe they should get rid of the waffle maker and invest in the auto pancake makers where u push the button and it makes two for u. Less chance for sticking and under cooked waffles (even tho the machine was beeping saying it was done) The eggs were very runny so I didn't want to eat those (personal preferance... but the eggs had been out a while and they were still really runny so how runny were they when the first.came out. I waited to look at them till the meat arrived). It took a lot of extra time for the sausage and potatos to show up, since I didn't like the looks of the eggs I decided to also make a waffle and sure enough, mine stuck too (I've made my fair share in hotels before so I'm not unfamiliar with how to make them) and wasnt cooked through... so.... I had a good tasting tiny danish, 2 sausage a couple potato bits.... and a undercooked waffle.... (that Danish was really yummy.....) My husband ran across the road to the fast food (maybe time hortons, i cant remember)place as he did not enjoy the breakfast provided by the hotel. Our room was quiet but it was also a Monday night that we stayed while school was still in. We faced the forest which was fine with us. The room had all the amenities I would need. Kitchenette style with fridge, microwave, sink, a two element stove top... bath with tub, The hotel can request a taxi pick up for you to the airport. The cost was a flat 25$. And the taxi arrived with in 5 minutes of the scheduled time we wanted so that was acceptable and it's close by so it.gavr us more then enough time to check in. I looked at many hotel sites and I don't think any (I may be wrong) have airport transfers included in hotel. It seems most make you get a taxi. Having worked in Courteney BC in a hotel that did a shuttle service I think It is sad that no one in nanimo

Beautiful little gem of a spot ! Excellent friendly service . Well maintained pool facilities great for families . Beautiful area. Would definitely stay there again .

Their suite is not suite. Regular room. Very misleading.
