NOT AS ADVERTISED (See picture)! As a working woman who travels, I specifically look for hotels that have fitness rooms. The Best Western Plus Deer Park hotel and Suites in Craig, Colorado advertises, “We also have an in-house fitness room, so you can keep up your workout routine while you’re on the road.” However, after checking in, I found out the fitness room is actually located across the street and you must go to the front desk and ask for a key to access it. I prefer to workout at 4:45am EVERY morning and it is UNSAFE to be expected to walk across the street in the dark on an unknown town to access a fitness room that should be located “in-house”. Needless to say, this hotel would NOT grant me a refund. DON’T stay here! UNSAFE!!

Room was ready when we arrived. Room was very clean and we had room service daily. Our favorite place to stay in Craig.

The website said that there was a gym and there was not, there were photos of the gym and that didn't exist. The sheets smelled like a campfire and i didn't even shower bc I just wanted it off there and it was the most expensive place to stay!!

A fantastic stay at the Best Western Deer Park Inn & Suites again! Our time here was made extra special by the wonderful team – Alice, Christine, Socorro, Steven, and the rest of the staff that made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we come to this part of the country!

Room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and worked well for a 1-night stay. Staff worked hard to keep the breakfast bar stocked and tidy all morning - fabulous yogurt brand!

The hotel has an agreement with the gym next door. Tell the front desk clerk you want to go workout and they’ll give you the key. Gym is open 24/7

Stayed in late April 2024, in room 112. Easy access off of CO HWY 13, and plenty of parking. Area seemed safe. Friendly staff greeted me on entry and, with a reservation, check-in was quick. Room was very clean. Breakfast each morning from 6AM-9AM. My only concern was the toilet was grade school height. I know... interesting concern but after a ten hour drive, not very comfortable, and for some people, not very useful.
