My husband and I were looking to book a last minute trip to Rhode Island, when we discovered Edgewood Manor. He didn’t share any details with me so I could be surprised and when we pulled up to the manor I was like, 😮😮. On our walk to the front door a little bunny rabbit crossed our path, and we were instantly so happy we chose this B&B over a Hilton. The breakfast was delicious, the room was cozy, and the details of the decor were just begging to be recorded for the gram. We loved our stay so much that we came back just two weeks later! We highly reccomend Edgewood Manor for those staying in Rhode Island.

Beautiful home. The manor is absolutely charming filled the unique antiques. The bed was very comfortable. The room very clean. Perfect for large gatherings. The rooms are all different and are beautifully decorated. The host gave great restaurant recommendations.

Edgewood Manor is a remarkably well kept vintage retreat where you can truly escape ones everyday work life. A cozy place where you can go and just kick back for a while and forget about hard work. Highly recommended. The decor and the artistry will take you through time.

A Perfect Getaway for Antique Lovers! I recently stayed at Edgewood Manor in Cranston, Rhode Island, and I can't recommend it highly enough, especially if you have a passion for antiques! The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting, warm atmosphere that feels like a step back in time, yet with all the modern comforts you'd expect. The owner is incredibly friendly and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. He has a deep knowledge of the antiques that fill every room, and his passion really shines through. Each piece has been carefully selected and adds to the charm and character of the manor. If you appreciate fine antiques, you'll be in heaven here! The ambiance is cozy and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. Whether you're lounging in one of the beautifully decorated rooms or enjoying a quiet moment in the parlor, you'll feel the stress of daily life melt away. Edgewood Manor is truly a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves antiques and is looking for a unique, relaxing place to stay. I can't wait to return!

Family stayed recently at this gorgeous house near Roger Williams Park, St. Paul Church, the Edgewood and Rhode Island Yacht Clubs and historic Pawtuxet Village. It is also not far from Downtown Providence. I highly recommend it for beauty, comfort, and friendly service. I was able to join family members for a tasty breakfast several times during their stay and got to enjoy their company in the house’s comfortable and tastefully antique-filled living room. Andrew, the owner was friendly with a good sense of humor.

I had such a lovely time! Our flight arrived exceptionally late, Andrew let us know how to get in after hours. We snuck up the stairs to the colonial room. It was gorgeous! My husband fell in bed and slept for 12 hours. I went down to breakfast and had a homemade meal cooked for me as I sat fireside being a lady of luxury. Loved it! When hubby woke up we walked around the area. One way there’s a Super cute little neighborhood near by w the river flowing through, the other is a gorgeous park with multiple lakes. Drugstore on the corner for anything I forgot. Great location, beautiful home, comfortable room, great breakfast and a charming Inn Keeper.

First, Edgewood Manor is BEAUTIFUL! It’s luxurious with lots of authentic antiques for you to enjoy and feel pampered. The reading room (or Parlor) is set for tea (or coffee) anytime with the most beautiful furniture and stained-glass lamps…a theme throughout the manor (ALL authentic)! Enjoy breakfast, home-made, and served in a large beautiful dining area. The rooms are just exquisite. I’ve stayed in quite a few of them…lol, as this is my Go-To housing when traveling! Andy is a wonderful host. There is so much that could be said, but I’ll let you experience. My experiences have all been great. I highly recommend.

I contemplated posting this review but after speaking to family, friends and business associates I feel it is necessary to document our experience and let everyone decide for themselves if this establishment is for them. My husband made a reservation for Christmas Eve speaking with whom he assumed was the owner. We arrived to be greeted by a Ring camera as no one was on sight. They promptly responded and gave us the instructions on how to enter the Inn. Once inside we called back to get further instructions on key, room location, etc. At that point we asked what time breakfast would be served the next day, which was Christmas Day, only to be told that the staff would not be preparing breakfast since it was Christmas but to help ourselves to what was in the kitchen. This is where it starts to go downhill. There was a very personal and inappropriate item in the kitchen which we found a little disturbing. The food in the refrigerator was expired, past the best buy date, and in some instances moldy. We did manage to find English muffins and jam that we could salvage for breakfast. Please note that this is Christmas morning and nothing is open. There were other things that we were disappointed with. The Inn was minimally decorated for the holidays, which was surprising to us, but to each their own. We were hoping for something a little more festive. When contacting the owner regarding our dissatisfaction we received a very blunt email. One of our complaints was the fact that we were paying the same rate as their standard rate with breakfast. We were not told that he would not be serving breakfast or offered a reduced rate since it would not be provided. I requested a refund and was flat out denied. He said that it was explained to my husband that breakfast would not be served but that is obviously untrue. That is not something that you would forget considering it was Christmas Day. And the fact that a reduced rate was not offered was such a rip off. When bringing up the personal item in the kitchen I was told, and I quote "Maybe you were a bit too nosy and if I knew you were going to snoop around our kitchen I would not have allowed you in to our kitchen" . "Your understanding of this is obviously minimal and downright wrong" Pretty bizarre for a business to address and insult a patron like this. I wrote the email to Andrew but Richard responded. As far as the Inn itself, it is a beautiful building but the interior and furnishings need some TLC.

We confirmed directly with the owner of more than 20 years, and he could not have been nicer. However, his apparent "hands-off" approach took away most of the charm that would have otherwise existed. Very nice interior. Super nice "sunroom" dining room. Our guest room was a huge disappointment with a broken damper on either side of the window a/c allowing bug infiltration (dead bugs scattered around the floor. Spoke with housekeeper who was aware and admitted the owner also knew about it. Inexcusable, really. Breakfast, for which we had high hopes, very, very average. Keurig coffee a huge red flag in a nice B&B
