We loved everything about the Hitching Post Hotel and Feed Store. The room was large and updated with a nice deck outside the room. Room has comfortable bed, fridge and microwave . Sherry was so welcoming and genuine. Went to restaurant sat in bar area and were treated to amazing music on open mic night. The fried chicken sandwich was amazing ! Great stay in small town americana.

I absolutely loved the place, the room was nice and clean, the people were amazing and willing to help with anything. I had a great time there, besides, the town is really unique with its own community and has its magic despite being very small. I totally recommend this place to everybody, if you're a traveler passing by, you should definitely at least consider visiting.

Cherri was a wonderful host. It's very clean for a aged hotel. When we're back in the area will stay again. Everyone we meet in town was very nice.

Had an enjoyable stay at the Hitching Post. Character little hotel in nice community and area. Terrific access to Black Canyon of the Gunnison North Rim! Hotel owners were the sweetest and gave us a great first impression of the place! Room was cozy and nice. Little fridge, microwave, AC, smart TV. Room coffee was terrible though 😜

WHAT a find! Super cute hotel, lovely welcoming host who gave us some great tips of things to visit locally.
The local restaurant staff were really friendly and welcoming and even gave us a free desert to celebrate our honeymoon.
Such a lovely little town.

Stayed here due to working at a project site in the National Park. The room was a little outdated, BUT everyone was so nice...even the restaurant people.
