Crescent Beach Motel

The facility is well worn and could use a facelift. The room was small, but the deck and ocean is just outside the door. Great place to watch the sunset and fall asleep listening to the surf. Only stayed one night but would be nice to have an entire day there to relax and enjoy dipping my toes in the ocean.

This motel is an older motel full of class with a nostalgic feel. It made me smile, thinking of past vacations when I was a small child. Check in was fast and pleasant. The rooms are right on the ocean. The flooring is new and clean. The only thing I would change is, updating the bed covering and change out the aged mirror in the bathroom. Everything is clean and well kept. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the motel.

Excellent Motel staff, clean room. Easy access to beach for long walks! The outdoor hose is handy for cleaning your feet and Sandles. You could have a fire on the beach to roast some mores. Loved it!

Another great stay at the Crescent Motel Taree. Owner was friendly and had our room ready upon arrival. The room was comfortable, clean, bed was comfortable, large screen TC with Netflix. Thank you again for another great stay.

The other reviews baffle me. Our stay was definitely sub-par for the $175 price. The view was nice. That’s it. We couldn’t shower because the water would go from 100% hot to 100% cold without warning. The rest of the bathroom was old, with some rust, few (thin) towels, and a small sliding window onto the parking lot (and highway) for ventilation. There was a sign saying that the beach was private property- no trespassing. So we apparently couldn’t access the water. There wea a row of bird droppings right outside our sliding door that discouraged us from going out onto the aging deck with rickety lawn chairs. Outside our room door was a planter filled with weeds. Finally, “breakfast” was a basket of instant oatmeal packets and some apples and oranges. I’d expect to pay $50 a night for this motel.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable at a bargain price. Right on the beach so we woke to beautiful views and the sound of the waves crashing. Off for a walk on the beach now! Coffee, oatmeal & fruit offered for breakfast. Keurig in room.

Stayed here for one night, during a big storm. Sandra, the desk manager that night, could not have been more pleasant and helpful under trying circumstances. She got us an extra ice bucket, gave us restaurant info, and got our TV hooked back up (after the last guests had disconnected the cable to play video games)...all with a smile, as the wind was gusting and the rain was pouring down. The best part of the place is that it is situated virtually on the beach. It's amazing to see the waves coming toward you such a short distance away. The cons are that this is truly a budget motel, which means that there were only paper cups in the room, no mini-fridge, etc.

Room was clean, spacious, easy to access bed was comfortable. Refrigerator is available upon request. Not crowded.Consierge was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about area and special events. Light breakfast available. Great views of the ocean from the back door. Well lit walkway down to the beach ( which is 10 steps) from your room. Great place to stay!

A nice simple vintage roadside hotel that just happens to be right on the beach. Our room was very clean. had a flat screen TV. And a nice updated bathroom. We paid a little extra to be on the beach side.Great view of the beach ans you could hear the waves as you drifted off to sleep. Robert at the desk was very helpful,also recommending Fisherman’s restaurant close to town which turned out great. I would certainly stay here again.
