Staff members are friendly and very helpful… rooms are clean just what you need as a stop over. Everything you needed in the room

Room was clean, but the whole place is in desperate need of refurbishment. We had a broken soap dispenser which was not mended. We had to ask every day for a towel, having been told we were only allowed one, but because two of us were staying we were eventually allowed another, but had to ask for it every day. The corridors and stairs were not cleaned at all whilst we were there. The receptionist seemed to have to do everything. Clearly there was not a cleaner. The shower over the bath was inconvenient and should be replaced with walkin showers, as other Travelodges have been. The policy of 30 mins free WiFi is archaic to say the least. This Travelodge was convenient for where we needed to be, but it was obviously being run on a shoe string!

2nd stay of the summer here and once again no complaints. During my stay at this hotel, I have felt like I was in a home away from home. The towels provided were of excellent quality. One of the staff members Sonia was particularly sweet and made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was jolly making my stay away enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean and comfortable rooms, very helpful staff. Overall extremely supervised by the stay as many people I had talked to were not complementary, don’t listen to the hype, a very pleasant stay.

Saturday stay so not a cheap night (Sun nearly half the price) but clean basic accommodation with helpful staff.

After a long journey this Travelodge was the perfect stay. Clean and tidy room, free parking which is rare nowadays and close to local attractions. Fluffy towels, spacious room and breakfast over the road at Starbucks. Hotel staff were friendly and Sonia was sweet. Till we meet again. Thank you Travelodge.

I don’t normally bother to review travel lodges as you kinda get what you expect a clean room and a tidy place to stay for a work trip. But the reception made a real effort to make me feel welcome and took some time to give some advice. Thanks to Sonia for recommending the inn on the sticks restaurant my clients loved it.

Staff on reception desk very welcoming and helpful. Steph provided us with the local knowledge we needed. So cheerful too!

If you are looking for somewhere that looks like a hotel you can purchase by the hour then stay here its plan and simply disgusting. Payed for breakfast that was never offered but I later found out it’s a box couldn’t the k of anything worse Please avoid
