What I like :
The breakfast! It is not fanciful but enough variety and selection for one to be well fed.
I wish there is more vegetarian option as the current vegetarian sausages (?) contains onion. Which is not edible for me, of which our vegetarian practice do not consume onion, garlic , leek
The front desk. The young Caucasian lady and the Asian ( I think is Indian if not mistaken ) are both really helpful.
The kitchen crew, I think one of the lady's name is Adele or Adela. It was very cold on the day I stayed there , so I can imagine the hard work to withstand the cold and get all food prepare for hotel guests by 6/ 6.30. I am grateful. Gratitude to kitchen team
The plumber / engineer. He came helping me to fix the toilet as the water keep flowing. He work really hard towards it getting in and out of the room as the problem is abit tricky. Please recognise his hard work, dedication and determination.
I am happy with my stay, it makes me look forward to staying in Holiday Inn when I visit other countries. Sounds like a promising and reliving brand I would be in good hands anywhere I go.

Room is clean and cosy. Worth the price. Recommended to stay if you want not so expensive but elite type hotels. 15 mins walk to train station and 20 mins away train ride ro central London. Breakfast is really delicious and generous. You can even take away some bread and fruits if you can't have the buffet.

It took me 12 minutes to get to the hotel from East Croydon Station. However it was located at a side lane of the main road. It provided basic amenities and breakfast with limited choices. Recommended as it values for what you paid. Deposit paid by cash would be returned when checking out.

Comfortable, safe, and well-located – a great stay in Croydon
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Croydon during a recent trip to London, and it turned out to be a really solid choice. The location is quite convenient, a 10-minute walk from Croydon station and the area itself felt lively, with lots of food options and shops around. We were two female travellers and felt quite safe exploring the neighbourhood. The hotel itself was well-maintained. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed for a short stay. The included breakfast was a nice bonus, there were several good options to choose from, and the staff in the dining area were particularly friendly and attentive, especially during the busy morning rush.
Overall, it was a well-rounded experience: clean rooms, a decent breakfast, kind staff, and a location that made getting around pretty easy. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great hotel with a friendly service. The front desk was very helpful especially Kelvin and the cleanliness was fantastic. The breakfast was hearty and was allowed to be taken away too. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful London visit

The hotel is in Croydon. This area is relatively chaotic in London. I often see bad things happening on the Internet. I used to negotiate with the hotel to cancel the order. I communicated with him many times, but he didn't agree, which made me lose more than 1,000 yuan. I won't choose here again.
